Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

Coffee making is an art CCD is trusted for. But so far I have been to CCD two times and both the times I have been disappointed. This time I went to this branch of CCD in front of ram mandir and ordered an inverted cappuccino. And I don't know maybe I was just served cappuccino in a mocha cup. And my friend ordered mocha... It was a total mess ! Mocha means the chocolate syrup should be at the bottom... It was simply put on the inside layer of the mocha glass... and it tasted more like chocolate shake than mocha... I mean, maybe the staff needs more training or maybe CCD is just degrading on it's quality... And the pizza... Maybe the review about coffee might not be an authentic one but I would bar everybody from trying that pizza ! It's not worth the money in fact it does not even taste like pizza... It's just hard crust with some visible amount of cheese and pieces or two of bell pepper and one or two veggies here and there... It's not even worth trying !

I expected so much more from CCD.

And about customer service... The lady at the counter was good at her job. She even tried upselling but sorry ma'am I just wanted a perfect inverted cappuccino... But the one who served... She never spoke a word and when I told her to take away the empty pizza plate when she came with the coffee, she extended her hand as if telling me to pick the plate and give it to her. I did that. She just took it and went away. Did not even come back to ask if we wanted something else. And we did want to order but never mind... we just came back. Maybe that girl had a bad day or she was upset, but that's workplace and I think she should be a bit more friendly and welcoming rather than reserved and indifferent.

Well, if this is how the staff behaves with customers,am sure you are loosing customers... At least you lost one.

Also, the tables were not cleaned after customers left. It was just lying on the empty table... That created a very bad impression.

I don't want to sound rude. Cleanliness 10/0, hygine 10/10 but I think you should consider the above points. Just sharing...

This outlet is spoiling the name of ccd as a brand. Or they have been assigned the duty to minimize the number of people visiting this outlet ! The iced tea and lemonade we ordered , we paid for the drink completely.not at 50 percent discount! But yet what we got was a half glass of beverage! The other half was filled with ice , ideally speaking all i could see was ice, when we did take out all the ice . Thats how much our drink was served . When i asked the incharge there if what i ordered was a slush or a lemonade. He was completely blank, not having understood what a slush meant in the first place because they legit served us one !! Unapologetic and least deserving outlet.

Oh btw, our order came after 25mins not to forget .

Probably the ice was still freezing in the freezer hence...

This marion Ccd branch have started offering this extra service... Like you go grab some coffee n after 5 mins their people will come requesting you to take any cookie chips chocolate... If you take it that's fine.. first time we took it next time we denied.Then i asked a normal glass of water they denied saying u have to pay for it we cant give.. n i noticed just 2 mins back the guy who bought they provided the water..Since last 12yrs i m going to that CCD i have never this kinda desperation for selling products inside such a classic place.. and people who goes to ccd paying 800 rs at a go for two coffee its normal then can buy 80 rs water bottle too... But keep in mind people goes their to spend some quality time... This kinda of unethical behaviour is completely...
