Biggies Burger :Soubhagya Nagar (Bhubaneswar) — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

I had to make a quick visit to this place and while I felt it was a little cramped, I have no major complaints. Didn't really get the chance to properly sample the food on this occasion, but with such good reviews, I decided to order a few dishes recently - Chicken & Cheese Balls, Chicken Fingers, some Peri Peri Fries with sausages, and something else that I can't recall the name of.

Everything was full of cheese and all, so a lot of people are going to be happy. But as far as the taste goes, not even one of them stood out. The Peri Peri fries were, in almost equal parts over-done and under-done, two of the Chicken and Cheese Balls were seriously under-cooked inside, the Chicken Fingers were nothing special - they tasted exactly like the ones you get in retail and had no special touch. And wayyyy too much raw masala (like Chilli Powder) sprinkled on top of the items - tasted very very unrefined.

Wasn't happy with the weak, soggy packages either.

Very famous burger chain in Bhubaneswar. Ambiance is decent, like most fast food chains. It is spacious and has a good atmosphere. The burgers are a hit or miss. The peri peri ones are too spicy, but most burgers are delicious, especially the non vegetarian ones. The peri peri wrap is spicy but also pretty good. The grilled chicken side is great. I've been a loyal customer of Biggies Burger Joint for years, but my recent visit to the Jagamara outlet was a disappointment. I ordered the recommended The Original Spicy Chicken Burger (priced at INR 259), but unfortunately, the patty was undercooked and the after taste was legit the rawness of the meat. I couldn't finish it once I tasted the patty, and my friend who ate most of it puked just after 15 minutes.
