My pick on which restaurant to avoid 😬 today, tomorrow and for entire year at any cost. @opheemrestaurant

I read so many glorifying reviews on this place, trusted and went to celebrate 25th night here. In my life, I had never experienced such terrible food and services. Everything was terribly wrong from ambience to food to changed menu prices. We paid near 2k for the trash 🗑. We ordered:

FRESH LIME WATER- Served me in plain water, I returned it. Second time they served chilled but squeezed lemon so much that it was completely bitter.

COLD COFFEE- It was average.

CHICKEN MANCHOW SOUP- It was lukewarm and average tasting.

MUTTON SEEKH KEBAB- Worst dish of the day goes to this zero of a guy 🥲. First they served cold stiff, stale smelling Kebabs. We returned it, Second time they brought same sh*t but little more warm. We wasted it.

BUTTER GARLIC PRAWNS- Prawns were tender no doubt, but the veggies added were overcooked, sauce was too salty. I almost threw up. Portions are joke for Rs 525 for this dish.

CHICKEN HYDERABADI DUM BIRIYANI- Lukewarm, very sour biriyani with 2 cold stiff chicken pieces. They added so much curd in it that it turned sour.

Prices shown online are no longer available. Prices have drastically increased. Dishes which were around 400 are now 550 around. The chef should be fired asap, he royally spoilt our Night with stale inedible, overpriced food. The rooftop area is ok but the lounge area was smelling horribly. Restrooms are unkempt. At least should have used a damn room freshner 😐. Initially brought dishes fast, made me wait 1.5 hours for prawn dish. I can pay 10 k for good food, but 2k for such trashy stale food, hurts me so much 😫. I will never visit this place in my life again. The only best thing was my makeup 🤭 on this night. I visited OPPHEEM with high expectations..but alas to my utter dismay, I was so WRONG. I had planned a birthday surprise. So they charged me 2k prior in advance for the decorations which were actually not worth the price. Staff service was neither good. The manager just visited us once & then was nowhere in the scene.The WORST part was that it was so unprofessional of them to charge us for a bottle of water which we DIDN'T even consume. Even without our saying they opened the bottle and kept it on another table saying that we had used the bottle. This behaviour was certainly very UNEXPECTED. After we complained about the same, they tried to cover up the fact that they knowingly opened the bottle in order to charge us for it(Such low-mindedness). Finally we didn't agree to pay for it & they had to remove it from our bill. But the behaviour of the staff talking to us was really really RUDE.He angrily took the bill from our table & started discussing loudly about this with all other staffs. We were made to feel as if we had committed a crime by not paying for a bottle of water which we never opened nor consumed.But why should we pay for something which we DIDN'T even touch or consume (the bottle was totally intact & they opened it without our knowledge on another table where we weren't sitting even).Such a Horrible experience. Utterly satisfied with the ambience, food and staff behaviour.

Let me start with the food... Honestly the best I ever had in Bhubaneswar. I had fish picata, grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and fish fingers ❤️. The Fish Picata was sooo good that I couldn't resist myself from meeting the chef and thanking him for the softest and tastiest grilled fish. The herb mayo served with ut was just as awesome as the fish picata. Then I requested the chef to cook grilled chicken for me and it had 2 chicken breast , very scrumptious and filling along with mashed potato and mushroom braised sauce. The Fish fingers were too good to be true. It was the best fish fingers I had ever had in my life. If you are in Bhubaneswar and wanna dine and drink in a decent place then this the best choice.

I had some staff recommend cocktails and it was very smooth and tasty. I have actually forgotten the names but it one was gin based cucumber cocktail abd other was vodka based. I also has JW Red Label which was also pocket friendly.

Coming to staff behaviour, I have never seen such polite staffs anywhere in Bhubaneswar. They were very well behaved and promt,& smart as well.

Kudos to OPPHEEM! Keep growing and maintain such high standards in our capital city. Bhubaneswar needs more such places for a...
