First of all, I am not sure how they serve their cutlery because while serving chicken they gave me a dinner knife and fork instead of a steak knife. I can't comprehend how someone is supposed to cut chicken or meat with a dinner knife. Dinner knife is fine for cutting fish, or pancakes, not meat or chicken. If that wasn't enough, the height of the chairs compared to the table was sub-optimal for eating comfortably with spoon, knife and fork.
There is something seriously wrong with their gravy and spices. They taste rancid. The mutton kebab I ordered first tasted rancid and the rancid taste reduced after I asked them to make it once again with reduced amount of spices.
Then there was mutton served with gravy. The gravy was tomato based but instead of the tangy taste of tomato with a hint of sweet aftertaste all it had was a rancid aftertaste.
Then there was the galouti kebab. It was terrible, the spices were completely undercooked. I can't fathom how it's possible that the meat was cooked yet the spices were undercooked. And it was over-spiced to the point that it tasted like eating a ball of raw spices.
Of course, how can I forget their messed-up rendition of a virgin pina colada which they call "Pineapple and Coconut Mocktail" wherein they put desiccated coconut in it instead of coconut milk. It just tasted like regular pineapple juice with desiccated coconut thrown in. It's as if these folks don't even know how to make a rather basic mocktail.
However, the biggest pile of junk they served was the thing they call "pan shot". Whoever gave them the idea to put betel leaf paste in milk based semi-liquid sweet needs to have his/her tastebuds checked. Disgusting will be an understatement for the abomination they served in that shot glass.
I am honestly shocked how people recommend this place for fine dining. It has to be one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at. Their only redeeming quality is that their service is extremely prompt, but that's all there's to...

I started my meal with the Paneer Cigar Roll, featuring soft paneer with a unique tomato chutney inside that really elevates the flavor—definitely something different. Next was the Chicken Tikka Punjabi Grill, which was pure PG perfection—perfectly grilled with a wonderful taste. The Kham Khatai, a galouti kebab, simply melts in your mouth, while the Raunaqen Sikhan Mutton Rolls were creamy and delicious.
For the main course, I opted for Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken, the classic Punjabi staples. Both dishes had their own distinct identity and paired beautifully with Kulcha or Naan. Speaking of Kulcha, I tried something unique called Butter Chicken Kulcha—utterly buttery, stuffed with chicken, and one Kulcha is more than sufficient for one person. However, the highly recommended dish for me was the Laal Maans—perfectly succulent, well-flavored, and an excellent pairing with Naan or even rice.
To wrap up the meal, I enjoyed Rasmalai and Halwa as a sweet treat, and whether you choose to start or end your meal with it, the Kesar Pista Lassi is absolutely the best—rich, refreshing, and the perfect finish to a fantastic meal.
Whether it’s the exquisite food, elegant ambiance, or overall experience, Punjab Grill truly impresses. The pricing reflects a premium experience, where you’re paying for the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the...
Read moreStarter plater was average, but not very good as per the price. Regarding main course and Naan, I think the management should consider on preparation. All items provided are frozen. Even in the mix veg curry the vegetable seems to be from Frozen packet. In town there is Narula restaurant.. a n authentic Punjabi restaurant. Since Punjab Grill is a brand , but it failed the taste what an local restaurant provide. Self ordered 1. Methi chicken( not recommended anymore to any one as per the taste of gravy and smell of chicken) 2. Changezi chicken ( only taste the kachha tamatar not the well cooked) 3. Mix vegetable curry ( was salt less and taste less, after reporting they take out same and cooked properly and provided, the curry contained only carrots, beans and green peas) 4. Chicken seek Kabab (feels like the outer surface only cooked but the in side was seems less cooked 5. Nonveg starter platter ( composition was good) 6. Veg starter platter ( one of the best ). 7. Butter Naan ( very Kadak, hard, butter only touched, and charged fully for Butter 😂) 8. Garlic Naan (tasty one) Not a single person of my family felt happy after leaving the table, and spending more than 6500 , I too felt my week end wasted. And above all, they charged 10% Service charges on you bill other than GST. 🥹 The Street foods section of Punjab Grill was very good, but this resturant couldn't live up to the Hype created. Best of luck for your future endeavours. Never going to recommend anyone to Visit Punjab Grill, Esplanade ,...
