Location-This place is located on the opposite side of the baitala temple also known as the tini mundia deula. There is a road next to baitala temple, leading to bindusagar and this place is just opposite side of the road. If coming from Sishu bhawan side, take the Mausima flyover and at the end of fly over take the right turn before traffic post(2 wheeler only) towards rath road.If coming by 4 wheeler then it would not be easy to make that turn, then better take right hand turn after traffic post, move forward, take the first U turn and then first left hand turn into the inside lane to reach other side,i.e. the rath road.Move towards Lingaraj temple and as soon as you cross the baitala temple, this place is just 5 meters from the temple on the right hand side.If coming from Gautam Nagar,BMC old office side, then cross the mausima traffic, then either take first U turn and come back then take first left hand turn to the inside lane to reach other side i.e. the rath road, then move towards Lingaraj temple to find this place on the right just after baital temple or kep moving forward in vivekananda marg and when the road reaches the end, take the right side road, move along bindu sagar on the left,at the end the road turns right, then the road meets the rath road with baital temple on the right side. As soon as you see the rath road, the sign board of the shop will be in front of you. If you are coming from Lingaraj temple side, then just before baital temple of the right, this place falls on the left. The road by the bindu sagar is good for 2 wheeler as it is narrow and bindu sagar is one side with houses on the other side and then both side houses. Road is narrow so 4 wheeler can be stuck. Better use Rath road for reaching this place if coming by 4 wheeler.
Timing- They open in the morning 7 AM to 10 AM and evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. Better go in between times and early to get all items i.e. around 8-9 AM in the morning and 6-7 PM in the evening.
Food- There is hype about this place for providing tasty food and affordable prices. In the morning, they sell- Poori, upma, bara etc. and in the evening they sell chole bhature, paneer samosa. In the morning,I liked the ghughuni which was good, upma is okay,so both combination, good for Rs 20. In the evening 1 bhatura,1 chole with some curd onion salad costs Rs 30(the hyped item) and paneer samosa Rs 10(the other hyped item). paneer samosa for the price and taste is good, recommended. As per chole bhature, nothing special, ordinary taste. Although he puts mushroom in chole but the taste of the gravy is not good according to me. Since they do it with onions and garlic, the taste of the chole needs much improvement, especially the gravy which spoils the taste, kind of bland. The curd onion salad in fact is good. I am not sure if they make roll and chowmein but I think they do not. Chole bhature, paneer samosa are the highlight of the evening. P:S-visited today and the price has been increased by Rs 5-Paneer samosa- 15, chole bhature-35
Pros- Varieties of items in the morning and evening.Price point and taste wise okay
Cons- The chole was a let down for me. People just flock for cheap pricing but only some items are...
Read moreHere you get Chole Bhature and Paneer Mushroom Samosa. I also tried Samosa and Chole Bhature here. I will request you to not eat their Chole Bhature at all. They make it very bad. There is not spices in the chole, you can easily make it at home, in fact it will be better than that. The Bhatura is also not very good. They give some raita type thing with it which is completely full of water. They charge ₹35 for this Chole Bhature which I did not like at all. I will give one star for Chole Bhature.
But the Samosa given here. Paneer and Mushroom is absolutely amazing, so I will request you. If you want to eat funky Samosa. If you want to eat some unique kinda Samosa, then go here and try their Paneer and Mushroom Samosa. The price of one Samosa is ₹15. Must try samosa but chole bhature is...
