KASTURI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

I recently ordered a takeaway meal from your restaurant, and my utter disappoints has forced my to share my feedback s. I can only hope that you will go through it and think for a while. I ordered:- Two plates of kachupata chingri Two plates of shukto Three plates of shorshe Ilish . Starter eg fish fingers and gandharaaj chicken Before commenting on those items allow me to inform you that I have visited the main out let of Kasturi at Marquis Lane and enjoyed each item there thoroughly. Keeping such feelings in mind I ordered those food from your out late and found that;

1. Perhaps you are a different brand than the main brand of Kasturi at Marquis Lane. You are Misleading us by keeping such brand name which is very close to our heart ( I mean the original Kasturi)
2. Kachupata chingri was NOT AT ALL upto the mark . We hardly found few pieces of chingri which were not that fresh.
3. Shukto was so so .
4. Shorse Ilish was SOOOOO DISAPPOINTING. The tastes of such ilish was like chalani rui. Even it was not fresh also. Preparation was not good either. When one buy ilish paying such good amount and from such so called renowned brand, then one seriously expects a certain standard. You have no right to malaign your reputation and insult our emotional attachment with ilish .
5. I don't know whether you can understand the situation of a host when he serves such food to the guests and gets frustrating remarks even after paying hand some Amount to you.
6. Shukto was so so .

MY BILL AMOUNTED...

Ordered 12 items for lunch for my whole family and out of that 5 items were not edible. I guess they finished their whole turmeric and kashimir chili on those items. 1.Dhakai chicken roast and mutton kosha gravy almost same disgusting taste and full of red colours . Even a new chef can cook far better than that. Nothing like dhakai chicken roast ,that cook doesnt have any item about most of their menu recipes . 2.Chingri malaikari and daab chingri both has same gravy and chingri wasn’t fresh at all,taste like those were month old stock. 3.ordered ilish biryani .Instead of cooking ilish biryani they just fried those ilish(which has no taste and years old stock) and mixed that with mutton biryani rice. Found mutton bones in it. Basanti polau had full of colours and too much sweet . 5.bhetki paturi and kochupata chingri was good in taste and...

The food is good. But they serve it too late that everyone loses patience. The day when I went, the other people were also complaining for delay. After having starter after 30 min, we got our main course after more 30 min. The number of staff was enough as far I observed, but all are busy with the online deliveries! The restaurant ambience ia totally normal, nothing unique or luxurious! There was very normal chairs and tables. The food of Kasturi is always good. The jhur jhure alubhaja is my favorite. We also had fish cocktail with mayo dip, dhakai mugh polao, basanti polao dhonepata kacha lanka murgi, misti doi etc. The onion salad was worst! So my overall experience is not so good at Kasturi express, Baguihati. The jessore Road one is better than this atleast. And one thing, you can get offer from Dineout and...
