The Floresta Restaurant — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Want to dine in a Jungle? Although Machaan now known as Jungle Safari has already created such experience long back in two major places of the city, but there's no branch of Machaan near Baguihati.

So Floresta having similar theme, this place can definitely give you a new perspective to themed restaurant. If you haven't been to Machaan before, you'll very much like the ambiance, although this place is not as big as Machaan. Talking about ambiance, this is probably the only reason you'll think of visiting this place.

Location : Remember this place is located on the first floor and the way is in a small lane. It's bit diffecult to find but asking someone will definitely help.

Ambiance : Although nothing comes closer to the original greenery, this place is dark and looks exactly like a jungle made from plastic tress and leaves. Undoubtedly this place looks beautiful but a fishy smell was present all around. They really should take care of the beautifully created ambiance and do some basic maintenance.

Coming to the food, we opt for Chinese although they're multicuisine and serveds North Indian too. We ordered below dishes...

Schezwan Fried Rice @ Rs.150 (3/5) : The rice was brick red, looked like lots of food colouring was used. It wasn't as hot and spicy as it looked like. Chicken chunks were present but felt bit hard, quality of the food & taste wasn't impressive.

Garlic Chicken @ Rs.190 (3/5) : Chicken pieces were ordinary and bit stiff from inside. Flavours of the gravy didn't went in those chicken pieces well. Hot Garlic gravy also tasted very mediocre.

Conclusion : Visit this place if you only want to experience the ambiance. Their Indo-Chinese dishes didn't...

A jungle theme based restaurant. Nearby for the residents of baguihati. Its located beside the United bank towards the satgachi road from baguihati. 2nd floor of the building. Food is good. Reasonably priced. Enough quantity per dish. They do serve nun and rotis, which is not mentioned in their zomato menu. Only negative point was the chicken pieces. They were mainly the bone pieces. We informed this to the attendant, he readily accepted that and said the chopper was different today and not their regular one. I appreciate the instant ackowledgement, instead of argument. We also had fresh lime soda. We were 2 persons and the bill was 525 only for 1 starter, nun rotis with 1 side dish and sweet lime soda. So you can easily bring on your friends and treat them here. They also said that they organize events of large groups for which they change the restro setup into buffet. Also they have some happy hour going on from 12noon to 4pm during which they offer 20% off on any bill. 1 extra star for the courteous staff...

I have a worst experience.Food quantity and quality is very low.I ordered drum of heavens ,chilli chicken,hakka chowmin,kodai mutton, chicken tikka masala,butter tondori ,lemon honey chicken.They don't know how to cook .Drums of heaven they told me they make it less spicy for us but it is to much spicy.But I told them pls make spicy chilli chicken but they serve a dry chilli chicken which where is no spice atall,no taste.Then serve lemon honey chicken where taste of lemon and honey is nowhere,a bad smell of preservative is appeared and lemon chicken colour turned to marrygold colour with bad smell.In case of kodai mutton there is no kasuri methi and mutton is so stiff you can't imagine.Road side chowmin is better than there hakka chowmin.Food colour they used is low standard.Food is overpriced and food quality is very low even street side food is better than it.My total birthday is spoiled...
