Visited Chennai Express recently with family. The dosa was good, but the vada was really disappointing — it was cold and very soft, with no crispiness at all. When we asked, the staff mentioned they reheat the vada on a tava instead of preparing it fresh, but in our case it was still served cold. At ₹70 per plate (2 pieces), it didn’t feel worth it and my family regretted the choice. We expect freshly prepared items when eating out, especially basic things like vada. Amazing experience here at Chennai Express food was delicious as hell, I would say its too underrated but one of the best places to have South Indian cuisine.
