Sagar Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Bihar

I’ve tried food at many big and high-end restaurants — probably around 40 to 50 in Patna . Honestly, only 2 or 3 places have truly impressed me with their taste. Most of the time, it’s just good ambience and high prices, but the food doesn’t live up to the hype.

Then I visited Sagar Restaurant, which is quite an old place. I’ll admit, when I first saw the ambience, I judged it — it wasn’t as fancy as the places I usually go to. You know how they say, "Don’t judge a book by its cover?" That saying hit me hard here.

Because once I tried the food — Veg Biryani, Dry paneer chilli and Lachha Paratha — it was an absolute game-changer. 10 out of 10. The flavors were spot on. I couldn’t find even 1% to complain about. It was so satisfying that I still remember the taste even now.

Sagar Family restaurant is a place where you can have taste of different cousine.Its just on the side of Kankarbagh main road at Patna near Lilliput Store.Here you can taste indian foods Vegitarian & Non-vegetarian food as per your choices.Chicken/mutton Biryani,Paneer items,Veg/Non-veg chilli,Mix Veg,Aloo-jeera,Jeera Rice,Dosa,Chinese dishes,Fish curry,Mutton Curry,Mutton Handi,Fish Korma and many other dishes you can taste at this place.It has its own kitchen where they Cook foods with hygiene.I have visited personally many times till 2019 for dinner here.Seating arrangement is good here.Tables are also big enough to serve multiple dishes at a time.Table service is also good.You can have dessert on demand.Security guard sit at front who will look after your vehicle.Parking space for Bikes and cars available at the front.Over all a good place near your reach.One should try once to have a meal. Restaurant is good but experience for its party / community hall was pathetic.

1. Never give advance on approximate count of guests as I gave an approximate count of guest as 150 and told to confirm the count before 1 or 2 day but even on confirming the modified count as 120 before 1 day they charged for 150 guests only.
2. Always have an eye on count of plates during buffet time. 20-30 plates were removed from the table silently as we came to know by counting our guests.
3. Always have 3-4 persons in your side with dominating and vocal ability as alone you can not argue with them atall.
