The Pacifique - Café & Lounge — Restaurant in Bihar

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Pacific Café, and I feel compelled to share it in detail so that others can make an informed decision before visiting. From the moment I arrived, the service was noticeably poor. The staff seemed completely uninterested and inattentive — no warm greeting, no proper communication, and it felt like they were doing us a favor just by taking our order. There was no sense of hospitality or basic customer care, which is the least one expects in any café or restaurant setting.

Now coming to the food — it was well below average. The items we ordered tasted bland and stale, as if they were prepared long before being served. The presentation was careless, and there was nothing appealing about the flavors or the freshness. Even basic items that are usually safe to order lacked quality and taste. It was honestly a letdown, especially when you are paying decent prices and expecting at least a standard level of quality.

The ambience of the place also did not help. The cleanliness was questionable, and the overall vibe of the café felt neglected and disorganized. Tables were not cleaned properly between customers, and it just didn’t feel like a hygienic or welcoming environment to enjoy a meal.

This entire experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was one of those rare times when the service and food were both so poor that I felt others should be warned. Pacific Café seriously needs to improve both its food quality and customer service if it wants to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and I cannot recommend this place to anyone...

Went here with lots of expectations but it remained expectations only. We booked a table through Swiggy of 12 noon and reached the restaurant in time while ordering food what options we had was just chinese starters and Indian main course! Like seriously going to a buddy cafè for Indian main course?! It was said that all the tandoori/kebabs/breads/sandwiches(all the main dishes) would start from 2 p.m. Like what the freaking hell, then why have you opened it from 12 noon...people will come and see your face for 2 hrz?! Give your timings from 2 p.m itself. For what hell then you're giving 50% bookings when you have nothing fascinating to eat!😂 When said to call the manager they just kept quiet and didn't call.

Lastly I ordered 2 starters, Drums Of Heaven and Chicken 65. DOH was good no doubt, but Chicken 65 is really served so?! Can't believe they had no knowledge of it. Chicken 65 has small multiple pieces, but here they gave 6 big pieces as if they are giving chilli kebab or something?! Even 2 pieces were difficult to eat, it was so sour, no idea of flavour and taste! Lastly, glad that we called another restaurant right there and without spending much time there, went for a bon appetite!

(Only ambience is attractive, service 0.) It was really a very bad experience. Really open your cafè at 10 and...

We have been regular visitors to Pacifique and it used to be our go-to place. Unfortunately, our recent visit was extremely disappointing due to the new management and disorganized service.

We ordered garlic naan, kadhai paneer, Manchurian, and veg pulao. After 45 minutes, the waiter came and informed us that rice was “over” and veg pulao wouldn’t be possible. Since we specifically wanted it, we asked if it could be made if we waited. He confirmed it would take 40 minutes. We agreed and repeatedly checked with him 3–4 times if rice had been ordered.

In the meantime, we requested that at least our naan and paneer be served. An hour later, we were given plain naan instead of garlic naan, and that too in poor condition. When we asked about the pulao, the waiter suddenly claimed we had cancelled it..... which was completely untrue.

When we confronted the manager, the waiter lashed out instead of apologizing. This could have been avoided if they had been upfront from the beginning. It felt like they deliberately served part of our order first so that we would end up paying without getting what we wanted.

We refused to eat and did not pay. Overall, the service is now chaotic, communication is poor, and the staff is unprofessional. Pacifique is not what it used to be..... Be cautious...
