ACE-BENGAL ROOFTOP — Restaurant in Bolpur

The ambience is good. Staffs are courteous. After reading all the good reviews I decided to visit this restaurant and decided to have 'Claypot Chicken Handi Biryani', which I guess is not available anywhere else in Bolpur. Though this Food Item was not available on their Durga Puja Menu, but thanks to the restaurant they took the order for the same. And with that I ordered Chicken Kosha. Now comes the main part. The 'Claypot Chicken Handi Biryani' came in a Claypot which was covered with just a 'Foil Paper' instead of a proper Claypot Cover. When I asked about this the staff told me that they are yet to get the proper 'Claypot Cover'. If I talk about the Taste of Biryani seriously I didn't liked it much, I was expecting a much better taste. Now comes the 'Chicken' part. The 'Chicken' was not properly cooked, it was hard and while eating one piece we found 'BLOOD' on that 🤢, which was just ridiculous. After complaining about the same the restaurant Staff/ Manager apologized for the same and didn't charged me for that dish. But after finding 'BLOOD' we left eating food. I completely understand that the restaurant is new and being opened just before 2 Days it maybe really hard for the restaurant to manage the crowd during Durga Puja, but the thing which happened with me was just...

Just Waste of Money..... The Biggest Cheater Restaurant, I have ever seen. The most 3rd class Restaurant 😡 There is no option of 0 star, that's why 1 star is given.

Wait, sharing my experience.... Bought Lachcha Paratha @Rs 30/pics and Chilli Paneer @Rs 160/plate. But the Lachcha is just a plain paratha, no layer of lachcha was there. Now talking about the Paneer dish. The Paneers were made of soyabean, not original packet paneers. Such kind of chip soyabean paneer costs Rs 160/ plate. The taste of both of the Paneer & Paratha is so bad, that you can't imagine.

I asked the Manager that, are the paneers made of soyabeans. He gave me fake promises and some irritative dialogues.

Now you tell, is it worth it to go to...

Food is good, well garnished, delicious taste... Ambience is also appreciable... Much needed restaurant at Bolpur Bazar area... The foremost thing is that pricing are excellent, not overpriced at all... Rooftop section has an add-on experience in it... Last but not the least food varieties are great here... Recently few dishes are not up to the mark specially Rara chiken which they claimed as their best seller but it's not as per taste... One point added is this the most expensive Indian chiken recipe which they offered so from business perspective it's best but not customer...
