During the weekend, my family and I decided to try Cafe JC's in Sector 10, known for its continental dishes. We had high hopes for the experience, but it fell a bit short of our expectations. We ordered three dishes: Exotic Sauteed Vegetables with Quinoa: We found this dish to be quite dry. The vegetables and quinoa were cooked well, but the overall dish lacked moisture, and we were expecting it to be served with some type of sauce to enhance the flavor and texture. Without a sauce, it felt incomplete and not as enjoyable as it could have been. Grilled Chicken Breast: This dish was a disappointment. The chicken breast was very tight and tough to chew. We were hoping for a tender, juicy piece of chicken, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. The seasoning was decent, but the texture made it hard to enjoy. Chicken Florentine: Unfortunately, this dish had the same issue as the grilled chicken breast. The chicken was again too tight and difficult to chew, especially for my 9-year-old son. The flavors were good, but the tough chicken detracted from the overall experience. Despite these issues, there were some positive aspects. The ambiance of Cafe JC's is pleasant, and the staff were courteous and attentive. However, the quality of the dishes, particularly the texture of the chicken, needs improvement. Given our experience, I would rate Cafe JC's 3 out of 5 stars. There's potential for a better dining experience with some adjustments to the preparation of their dishes.

In my quest for a pet friendly restaurant, I hit upon Cafe JC. I confirmed the same from them & they informed me that with pets only outside seating is available. So I decided to check it out today for lunch. We, a family of four 'hoomans' & a black female Labrador named Ipsa reached there around 1 pm. We were the only ones with a pet. Fortunately a corner table was vacant as I guess due to a weekday the place was only 50% occupied. Most guests there seemed quite dog friendly, and a group of girls even took Ipsa for a few selfies. We ordered a chicken stew for Ipsa, and a Butter Chicken with Butter Naan, Chicken Florentine and a New York Pit pizza for us, accompanied with four mocktails. The chicken stew looked alright, with little chicken bits and few vegetable pieces. The Chicken Florentine was very well prepared with a tangy tomato garlic sauce, accompanied with all assortments as described in the menu. The Butter Chicken was surprisingly a bit spicy, however tasted swell. The pizza too had a good portion of chicken pieces and enough cheese. The grand finale was the dessert. We ordered two portions of Tiramisu cake slice and Blueberry cheese cake. If there was space, we would've ordered more. We were totally satiated and more so Ipsa. It was her first outing and a first for us too - as the complete family. I would highly recommend Cafe JC - whether you go with a pet or without. Its a must-try-once spot.

Tucked away in Chandigarh’s Sector 10, Cafe JC’s is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it exudes effortless boho-chic vibes - think quirky décor, colorful accents, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The background music, a mix of soothing multilingual tracks, only adds to the charm. The food didn’t disappoint either. We tried the Cafe JC’s Classico Pasta, Just Too Good Veg Salad, Crispy Kunjee Mushroom, and Cucumber Cruise and Green Apple Soda (mocktails) and rounded it off with a decadent Nutella Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream. Each dish had its own highlight, from fresh flavors to satisfying crunch, and the service was quick, keeping the experience smooth. What’s particularly interesting is the menu: apart from a wide spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, they even have something for your pets! Prices are a touch on the higher side, but considering the attentive staff, stylish setup, and prime location, it feels well worth it. Cafe JC’s isn’t just a place to eat, it’s a space to unwind, celebrate, or simply catch up with friends and family over good food in a beautiful setting. ✨ Pro Tip: Go for an early evening visit, so that you catch the golden hour glow in their outdoor seating, which makes for stunning photos (and an Insta-worthy backdrop). Don’t miss the Nutella Brownie if you’ve got a sweet tooth!

I want to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation through Zomato today and when I arrived, they refused to honor the Zomato reservation and denied giving the 10% discount, stating that they don’t accept Zomato reservations at all. This was not only confusing but extremely frustrating and felt very unprofessional.

Despite this, we decided to stay and have our dinner there, not wanting to ruin our weekend. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. We ordered a Penne Alfredo and a cappuccino, but when the food arrived, we were served a non-vegetarian cookie without any prior mention that it contained animal products. We were initially told it was eggless, but after asking another staff member, we found out it actually contained eggs. Even after pointing out their mistake, the staff blamed us for not asking beforehand, completely ignoring the fact that it was their responsibility to inform us about the ingredients, especially since it wasn’t marked as vegetarian or non-vegetarian on the menu.

The lack of transparency on the menu about whether items were vegetarian or non-vegetarian in the dessert section was very disappointing, when some items were labeled as "best sellers" but not veg and non-veg. This made the experience feel unfair and unethical.

Additionally, the washroom was in an awful condition — it smelled terrible and was totally unhygienic, which made the overall experience even worse.

The staff was unhelpful and rude throughout the entire visit, and when we raised our concerns, they refused to accept responsibility for their errors. It was truly a frustrating experience, and we won’t be returning.

We ordered two flavored cappuccinos and a Penne Alfredo, and our total bill came to about 1300, which honestly, felt like a poor value given the service and quality.

The washroom...

Hi all, I was a big fan of Cafe JC. We used to visit there just to have Aloha Pizza( having pineapple as toppings). Unfortunately today we were served with minimal quantity cheeze pizza and that too cheeze wasn't of good quality. So I ordered another dish Indo China Bro Bro sizzler, I raised the concern and showed them tiny pieces of cheeze too. We have taken the pizza as we were hungry. I asked for feedback book for my genuine feedback. But I wasn't presented with feedback book but 2 pieces of cheeze garlic bread as complimentary. After 20mins I got my another order too. On checkout I was given only sizzler bill, I thought the pizza wasn't good that's why they didn't give me the bill but on asking they gave me the pizza bill too. I was highly confused on whole sinerio. 1. Quality of food has been degraded. 2. Kindly present with feedback book rather than buttering customer to hold him to write the review. 3. We ( 2 persons) have over-eaten ( as wasn't allowed to cancel the second order ) 4. This whole situation took 2 hrs. 5. We were not entitled to pay them for pizza as It wasn't good. Kindly don't take it wrong way. If food is good, we tip but when food is bad, then it is not on customers. Once presented with no bill then with bill. Quite unacceptable. 2 stars because they returned my purse I left there after dinner.

Moreover, similar stuff we noticed done to another customer before us. Is this a...
