As an avid coffee enthusiast, I had high hopes when I ordered a cup of Hazelnut Coffee at CBTL. Sadly, my experience turned out to be nothing short of a bitter disappointment. It's a shame to witness such a beloved flavor transformed into a dreadful concoction.

First and foremost, the coffee tasted nothing like hazelnut. I was expecting a rich, nutty aroma with a hint of sweetness, but what I got was a bland and generic coffee with a vague aftertaste of artificial hazelnut syrup. It felt as if someone had simply poured a few drops of cheap hazelnut essence into a plain black coffee, and the result was far from pleasant.

The texture of the coffee was another letdown. It was excessively watery and lacked the creamy and velvety mouthfeel that you'd expect from a well-prepared cup of coffee. It seemed as if the barista didn't care to put any effort into steaming the milk properly or ensuring the coffee-to-milk ratio was balanced.

To add insult to injury, the price of this subpar Hazelnut Coffee was exorbitant. I understand that specialty coffee comes at a premium, but this overpriced and poorly executed beverage was nothing short of a rip-off.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Hazelnut Coffee at CBTL to anyone seeking a genuine and enjoyable coffee experience. It was a sad excuse for a hazelnut-flavored beverage, and the lack of attention to detail and basic coffee preparation left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Location & Ambience The location is awesome, offering a great side front on both the sides. The way they have the backside area covered with a temporary translucent roof makes for a great place to sit.

Food Food is where this store needs to improve drastically. They don't have a full functional kitchen so that limits their capabilities and certainly impacts the food preparation, quality and taste.

I had placed an order for a pesto chicken sandwich, which was supposed to be served with coleslaw and chips. The sides were missing when the dish was served, and the reason stated by the server was that they didn’t have a kitchen. Wasn’t the server supposed to mention this while I was placing an order?
