Ministry Of Bar Exchange - Lounge Bar in Chandigarh — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Pathetic experience! I wish I had read reviews before walking into this restaurant. I From bangalore&mumbai, in Chandigarh i was on a work trip, I was alone so wanted to experience howz the nightlife in my free time at Chandigarh, the first experience walking into this restaurant was pathetic, they will give you a weird look that you are alonr might be you aren't dressed Like a party animal! Second thing they don't care bcoz you are alone and you won't be making a good bill amount for them. This lady who walked me inside was so Rude and asked me to sit in a corner and wudnt help me anywhere else, I cudnt see the performance going on from where I was seated. When I sat there in the corner I requested, I was alone and I might get bored if I am in that corner where I cudnt see anything of the restaurants ambience. They had almost 20 tables empty and I asked I wudnt stay for long for am hour I cud shift to nearby table. They were adamant. Totally helpless staff, if you are a alone & a woman, walking into this restaurant is not advisable,I am sure they will make you feel more miserable. Not everyone walks into your restaurant is a drug addict, some come in who don't even drink alcohol, doesn't mean you treat them like they aren't worth to give you a business, However playground Pub& restaurant besides yours greeted me well and the ladies there helped me better than this pub. I am from a city known for pub culture. You cannot make a woman feel she isn't a worthy customer . you guys are in the customer service business and hope you train your Staff of something know as CRM training ( customer relationship management). I am a trained hospitality professional so I rate this Pub being pathetic and nothing else. The worst experience i had with ministry of bar exchange! A person name goldy spoke in a very rude manner with us ! Also the most unprofessional behaviour that i would have ever experienced in my entire life ! When me n my husband entered this place , we were told that u deposit 2000 rs. Which will include " snacks and drinks" what does that mean in literal sense? Like what does it actually mean? That few drinks and snacks would be included , right? But to out of surprise , the place was jam packed we couldnt get a table we stood at the bar that to finding a place to stand almost sandwiched in between, in all the hustle bustle we order our drinks and food , and later on come to know that the 2000 that we paid were to be basically just like a pre bill that we are paying and then we are ought to spend 2000 coz Goldy being that rude said that we will not return a penny , when we were uncomfortable and couldnt stand there! We are not from chandigarh but not experienced something like this anywhere! Also, cherry on the top was that we ordered for peri peri chicken pizza ...after waiting for half an hour , they give us the vegetarian pizza which was already lying on the bar table saying that ur non veg pizza will take half hour more.. Like one hour for a pizza??? What the hell? Im highly dissapointed! My evening is ruined! I need a justified response from #ministryofbarexchange .... What kind of a hospitality business...

MOBE sector 26 is the worst place when it comes to hospitality. I have been visiting this place my times because it has good music and live bands but the mobe staff specially the waiters and the short height manager with lean physique are rude and cheap. They don't respect women or their customers. They only value their known customers. Here I would like to share my Valentine's Day experience when I went to mobe with my friend. We were 2girls. All tables were occupied. I requested one couple for 2 seats as their was vacant seat availbale at their table. The couple welcomed us but the mobe staff refused us to sit on vacant chairs. Whn I called the manager, he started shouting on me standing very close to me. While he was shouting his saliva was spilling out of his mouth. Disgusting!! I asked him to stand at a distance and talk but he refused. I had to push him back. That's whn he left. Whn I sat he came back again and apologised for his misconduct. Later whn I ordered drinks and food they refused to take our order and asked us to go to the bar for all orders. It was their trick to humiliate me and my friend so that we should leave the table and he can give to to his known customers. The staff is extremely partial and they don't value customers.
