Tawa Restaurant — Restaurant in Chandigarh

Nice location and some municipal parking are the only good things about "Tawa" restaurant in Sector 19.

They've added ten seats too many in their dining area.

You can move out of your chair only if the guest on the table at your back gets up and moves aside.

AC was as good as non functional on 7th July '18 around 9 pm. The dining hall atmosphere was stuffy to the extent that children wanted to move into the corridors for some cool air.

Except rice and mutton, other preparations were quite good.

Service, Soups & Snacks were all excellent !.

The simple 'Boiled Rice' was pulped to the extent that not a single 'full-grain of rice' was visible. Mutton required an extra strong set of jaws to chew.

Oh what an awesome food. I still remember my first visit and every visit of tawa restaurant. Located in mid of Chandigarh. Huge parking space. Interior is little old style but food for which I go there is always at its best. My favorite is tawa chicken🐔🐤🐔🐓 but there masala, radha, kadai chicken is also so yum. The food at this restaurant is good, no doubt. But one big disappointment is the condition of the bathrooms. For a place that is clearly doing well and earning a lot, the management should take proper care of basic hygiene facilities. A restaurant of this standard should maintain clean, usable, and well-kept washrooms for its customers.
