This is a go to place for any person who digs the Indian Street Food like Aloo Tikki, Gol Gappe, etc. I have tried Gol Gappe, Dahi Aloo Tikki, Paneer Noodles and Masala Dosa.
First I would like to talk about the Gol Gappas. This is probably the first shop I have visited in Chandigarh which serves 6 flavours in Gol Gappa Paani and all those flavours are respectively delicious in their own way. One plate of Suji Gol Gappa costs βΉ50 and they cooked in hygienic conditions and are served in disposable plastic bowls which are eco friendly. I would rate the Gol Gappas a 10/10.
The second dish that I tried was Dahi Aloo Tikki and it was much better than that of BTW (Bittu Tikki Wala which is a very famous Street food outlet in Delhi) and it costed βΉ60 and it was enough to fill me and my mum's tummy which was growling with hunger after we've had a plate of Gol Gappa. It was nicely presented and it was served in a medium sized disposable plate. It is safe to say that it was very much fulfilling for two people. I would also rate this dish a 10/10.
The third dish that I tried was Paneer Noodles and honestly I didn't find anything great about it, it was just okayish. I ordered the small size so it was too served in a medium sized disposable plate and the quantity that they served for the price was perfect. However the small size isn't fulfilling for two people. I would recommend ordering the large plate if one wants to eat this in a group. I would rate this dish a 6/10.
The last dish that I tried here was Masala Dosa and I was actually quite happy when we asked them to refill our Sambhar and Coconut Chutney and they did it without asking for extra charges which most of the Indian Stree Food shops do. They server very little amount of Sambhar and Coconut Chutney and then charge exorbitantly when asked for a refill which wasn't the case here. But the Sambhar wasn't upto the mark. It didn't taste that great. I have had better Sambhar so that's why I think I didn't like the Sambhar that much. Though I did like the Masala Dosa a lot. It was really big and it was properly stuffed which made it taste even better. The chutney was fine too it tasted like any other coconut chutney you could have at any South Indian Street Food. Overall I would rate this...

I dropped by at Thakur Chaat, while riding from Himachal to Ghaziabad. I was hungry, it was past lunch time & past experience of having golgappas in Chandigarh, all made me hastily decided to have chaat stop at Chandigarh & was guided to Thakur Chaat Point by a friend, on phone. The 7 flavoured waters for golgappas is something I'm still getting a grip of. Absolutely lovely flavors, I haven't had it anywhere, despite being from U.P. π€ͺ ... Then I had their special papdi chaat also & it was worth spending on. Clean, fast service, there's ample place to sit around if the chairs are full. Won't miss mentioning, the restroom in the complex just blew my mind off. Spacious, well- ventilated & soooo clean π³π³, it was difficult to imagine I was using a toilet in a complex in India. I was impressed enough to take pics of the restroom. ππ A pit stop, worth stopping at, it met all my needs as a traveller. Restroom, food & a decent place...
