Zaika 41 — Restaurant in Chandigarh

The Food was amazing. Everything was tasty and looked fresh, was hot and hygienic. The menu was also good in the price, very reasonable. In 350, two people can eat there from their buffet. In the buffet we got 2 options of rotis, Missi and Butter Naan, served hot at the table. Was very soft and crispy. In the main course we had Veg Fried Rice, Salad, Heavy Curd and Boondi Raita (very fresh), Soya Chaap(very impressive), Paneer Gravy(big chunks of paneer were added to it), Mixed Veg, Dal Makhani(it was so tasty), Veg Noodles and Manchurian Gravy. The manchurian balls were tasty but the gravy was little high on salt. And I heard they had dessert section, but we didn't check for it as we were already full. So have no idea if the desserts were really available. They also have clean seats and table, with clean utensils and tissue papers and also outside the restaurant there is ample place to park your vehicle, specially two wheeler in rush hour. Tasteless food now, they were good at the time but now as the customer get attracted they have degrade the quality of food so badly. Serving is also too slow. They are simply serving now poor quality of food. The staff is very rude. They served as re-heated naans and tandori roti and not fresh ones and when we complained the staff member said " why did you not took roti when I was serving rotis, you didn't at that time so roti become cold , so i heated them again and served to you". When we complained about this to owner/ manager he asked us to remain silent and didn't even bothered about this incident and not called his staff member to make him release his mistake. Zaika 41 is a total letdown. The outdated decor and lack of cleanliness create an unpleasant atmosphere. The menu is uninspiring, offering tasteless, seemingly reheated dishes. Service is atrocious – slow, indifferent staff that seems more interested in chatting than attending to customers. Our food arrived cold, and the overall quality did not justify the exorbitant prices. Save your money and avoid this place. There are far better dining options in the area that won't leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth. Zaika 41 is a regrettable experience, and I wouldn't recommend...
