Atrocious is an understatement!
Today we decided to dine-in at the Berco's restaurant in Sector 104, Noida. The one right above Pind Balluchi.
It was a relatively simple order we placed: Grilled Fish with roasted Garlic and Chilli. Chicken Schezwan Dimsums.
The Fish arrived first. It was meagre portion size. Definitely zero value for money. The server placed the fish in our plates which were not clean at all.
That said, after we had our first bite we realized that the food was absolutely cold! This is unacceptable at a dine in restaurant. We highlighted the issue to our waiter, he acknowledged the fact and took only the remaining portion back. Then he came back in a few minutes saying the issue was "rectified" by the Chef. We were really hungry, so we just ignored the half-hearted effort and began to dig in. Only to realize that it was just reheated which resulted in overcooking the fish and an abnormally thick sauce!
We just sent the dish back. Totally disappointed!
Next up, the Dimsums. It was the worst quality Dimsums ever! Served cold, again! Also the wrapper of the Dimsums had hardened where it is sealed off, on all the 6 pieces they served. It was absolutely clear that they were serving stale food which was visibly dry and cold to the touch. We escalated and called the manager this time who came to our table and agreed that it was of poor quality.
To our utter surprise he told us in a matter-of-fact way that they routinely prepare the Dimsums in the morning. Filled, sealed and refrigerated. Then steamed and served to customers. Preparing fresh for each order is not possible! To my shock and horror, he then claimed that it was "the standard norm at all Berco's outlets!"
I know of multitude of niche, authentic Momos shops in my hometown where they proudly prepare their Momos right from the scratch and serve them fresh and juicy. Steaming hot. That too with a complimentary bowl of delightful Chicken Stock!
So much for their fancy Dimsums! It is a shame!
Berco's claims to be an authentic Chinese and Thai restaurant. Pricing is subjective, but in my opinion, I would not consider it a budget fast food chain.
The price of the food does not correspond with the quality at all! This outlet is hell-bent on totally ruining the brand name of Berco's to which I have been a loyal regular...
Read moreExtremely bad experience. Food was tasteless and absolutely worst that than a roadside kiosk. When we complaiined about the bad quality of food, we were told it's their 2nd chef preparing all the food during peak lunch time and if we complain he might lose his job! I mean seriously!!?? What about customers, we were there to have a good meal and the whole afternoon got spoiled. Their service is equally pathetic, they bring the food first and then after requesting they bring crockery and cutlery. It's like we were training them on how to serve food. The only saving grace was their starter crispy fried vegetables!!
A similar experience was at Berco's MGF mall saket. Food quality is deteriorating and they never own their mistakes. Please don't waste your time and money on any of the Berco's restaurant.
Attention Mr. Kabir, you may want to look into hiring a good staff for cooking as...

Visited Berco’s in Noida expecting a good meal, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Before ordering, we even asked the staff what their specialties were, and based on their recommendation, we ordered the noodles (₹345) and corn cheese roll (₹475).
Both items were honestly terrible. The noodles tasted like something you’d get from a ₹50 street vendor — bland, oily, and lacking any real flavor. And the corn cheese roll was bland and barely edible. Absolutely not worth the price.
We were so disappointed, we got the food packed and ended up giving it away to the needy instead.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Overpriced, tasteless food and poor recommendations by the staff. There are far better places in Noida to eat. Definitely not worth the hype...
