Cook-Du-Kdu offers a delightful culinary experience with a variety of dishes that are sure to please any palate.
Pros:
● Chicken Seekh Kebab: These are freshly prepared with pure chicken and fat, offering a rich and authentic taste. They can be paired perfectly with rumali roti or made into a roll, depending on your preference. ● Afghani Kali Mirch Fish Tikka: A unique fusion dish that combines Afghani creamy style with fish tikka. The fish is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth, making it a standout dish. ● Matki Chicken: This dish is a delightful surprise, featuring chicken chunks, seekh kebab, egg, and a medley of flavors. The thick gravy is full of flavor and pairs perfectly with naan or tandoori roti. ● Butter Garlic Naan: Always a favorite (A personal recommendation is to add finely chopped green chili with the garlic, for an extra kick. It's so good, you can eat it on its own). ● Angara Chaap: A great option for vegetarians, the Angara Chaap is well-prepared and flavorful.
Cons
● Space: The seating is primarily outdoors, giving it more of a roadside eatery feel. This can be less comfortable, especially during inclement weather. ● Atmosphere: The lack of fans can make the dining experience uncomfortable, particularly in the summer heat. ● Expensive: While the food quality is high, the portion sizes do not justify the prices, making it a bit pricey for what you get. ● Parking: The nearby parking spot is often crowded with people consuming alcohol in their cars, which can create a potentially unsafe environment for diners and their families.
Overall, Cook-Du-Kdu excels in providing delicious and unique dishes but could improve on its seating arrangements, atmosphere, and value for money. Despite these drawbacks, it's worth a visit for the...
