Came here after a pleasant previous experience, but very disappointed this time. To start off, we told them to not add any mushrooms in the whole order because my mom is allergic, and the manchow soup turned out to have mushrooms in it. Food was below average-- sabzis had little to no refinement for the price, soup was bad, starters decent at best. We ordered a Penang Curry, and the vegetables in it were not cooked fully. We had also said to not add lemon in the food as my grandmother can't take it, but there was lemon in the nargizi kofta, on top of that the waiter denied having put lemon in it. There was obvious colour in the food. Starters did not have salt. This is not at all what we expected having to pay 350 plus for each dish.
On top of that, there was an offer running that if you order above the minimum value of 3499, you get 10% off and a free dessert. The cashier implemented the 10% on their own, but did not give us a free dessert. We had ordered the kulfi not knowing about this scheme. Once we saw the same on a promotional poster in the lobby, we asked them to refund the value of the kulfi, which they refused to do. They were pushing to give us a credit voucher for next time, but after much arguing they gave us a free dessert.
Not a very pleasant experience overall. We went on a Sunday night so they had live ghazals playing which were very...
Read moreHello people !! Few days ago I was kind of feeling exhausted and to rejuvenate myself I decided to visit this place.
This place though is very close to my heart because during my childhood days I used to come here very often with my family to celebrate any success or achievement. This place was on our go to place since then. But after the emergence of so many eateries in noida it started to go down on our dining list.
Coming back to my experience, well the ambience of this outlet takes you back to 90s where you can find typical fine dining experience. Since I was not in a mood to gulp much I ordered chilled beer and a plate of appetiser - chilli chicken Dry.
Food - I was in a mood to drink some beer so to nibble I ordered a plate of chilli chicken dry which was gooey and delicious. Pieces were very tender and flavour was to the point. Only one issue - it felt way too oily. If they could resolve this then it’s a bang on.
Staff - very helpful and attentive. Also, they were quick with the service.
Price - It’s a fine dining outlet and the quality of food & service they provide totally resonates with the price. So, the price is not economical but at the same time not too expensive as well.
I would recommend you guys to try this...
Read moreThe other day I had this privilege to visit @samarkandrestaurantnoida would you believe if I say it's a 25 years old huge restaurant in mid of noida (sector 29).
A special thanks to Mr. Dham Singh who assisted us and made sure that we have great experience with them.
If we talk about ambience it's too royal with live ghazals and qawwali, this is something rare these days.
Food was actually good whatever we tried and served hot and fresh. Crispy corn with hot garlic sauce loved it. Fish tikka was actually too mouth melting soft and juice kabhi visit karo to must try. A very refreshing drink with #kafferlime leaves and 🍊 orange slices topped up with soda called Buddha's palm I totally recommend it. But if you are looking for some milk based and filling drink you can also try blueberry shake.
Their are so many options in main course, I tried #muttonsukka which is a South indian delight usually paired up with rice but as I dnt wanted to hv rice so we paired it up with Malabar parotta. Just perfect flavours and tangy taste with flaky parotta which I absolutely loved.
They also have a segregated space for bar and terrace dining area which is perfect to spend quality time in winters.
Do pay a visit and...
