Had ordered the Jamai Shosti Bhoj from Kolkata Kitchen 76 on the ocassion of Jamai Shasti. đ
It was a wholesome and fantastic Bhuri- bhoj experience from Kolkata Kitchen 76 on the ocassion of Jamai Shasti for us. Felt the authentic taste of Kolkata and Bengali cuisine delivered right at our doorstep. Each dish was cooked to perfection and it was the best Bengali food we've had in Delhi- NCR till now. The ingredients used were fresh and the spices had meld beautifully in the traditional dishes.
The Shorse Ilish was cooked home- style and we specially enjoyed it immensely. The Kosha Mangsho ( Mutton) was rich, slow- cooked and infused with aromatic spices, just the way we enjoy it. Very hearty and flavourful. I loved the Jhuri - Aloo bhaja a lot and the fact that you added peanuts to it was the cherry on the cake for me. It was quite addictive and I would love to order more of it from your kitchen in the future as well. The Shukto was a vegetarian delight that reminded us of our home. It had a unique blend of bitter, sweet and mildly spicy flavours that we thoroughly savoured with the Plain rice and Aloo- bhaja. This combination perfectly prepared the palate for the dishes to follow.
We had the Luchis with the Moong dal. The crispiness of the Luchi perfectly combined with the comforting warmth of the moong- dal and I won't forget the taste in a very long time.
We enjoyed the royal taste of the Chicken Rezala which stood out among all the dishes in the platter. The chicken pieces were big enough and the creaminess of the yogurt along with the blend of the spices made the dish taste incredibly delicious. The creamy white gravy, infused with aromatic spices and a slight flavour of cashew, offered an excellent dining experience that captivated both the palate and the senses. There was a seamless blend of Mughlai cuisine and Bengali culinary finesse. The whole spices added depth and warmth to the dishes.
The sweet and tangy raw mango ( Aamer) chutney beautifully combined the tartness of the green mango along with the sweetness of the sugar and the warmth of the spices. All the spices and flavours, cashews and raisins blended wonderfully with the sugar syrup, balancing the distinct and different tastes of the chutney. We thoroughly enjoyed this mouth-watering summer dessert from your kitchen.
It was also extremely thoughtful of you to add the Mother Dairy mishti doi to the bhuri- bhoj as we loved how the doi came packaged neatly without any spillage. Very convenient and practical for us too.
The Mishti was large and a standout addition to the complete Bengali dessert experience served by you. It was a melt-in-the-mouth sweet with a delightful orange essence that we absolutely loved.
Overall, the dishes were superb in taste and of highly premium quality. The quantity was generous for two whole meals for two people, which met our requirement exactly.
Thank you very much for the sumptuous lunch and dinner experience that you provided with the authentic Bengali home- style cooked dishes. We are going to be your loyal customer from now on. You made our Jamai Shosti extra special with the traditional, royal dishes that are perfectly suited to the occasion. We were treated to the best,...
   Read moreImpressive Bengali Restaurant
In a weekend food trip we find this restaurant from Google. But we were previously sceptical regarding this restaurant. From previous experience of different Bengali resturants in Delhi NCR we came to a conclusion that either these resturants try to balance Bengali tastes with North Indian cuisine and lost the authenticity of Bengali food or they charges a lot for maintaining authenticity. These two charector are very much common for Bengali restaurants in North india and it is actually guided by market condition. Owner has to run the restaurant successfully so that she/he can pays the workers properly with a decent profit. I haven't find simple Bengali restaurant with decent pricing, in which one can frequently eat food in Delhi NCR. This one is almost like that. Few basic improvements are required to attract more Bengali people. This restaurant is running in mixture of cloud and dine out mode. ** Good side -
** Overall -
A Hidden Gem for Every Bengali Soul in Noida!
Having lived in Noida for the past 5-6 years, Iâve constantly craved the authentic flavors of Kolkataâand finally, I found the place! This little gem serves food so delicious and true to our roots that words truly fall short.
From the first bite, I felt like I was back home. The taste is spot onâflavorful, comforting, and just like what youâd get in a Bengali household. And the cherry on top? The lady who owns the place is an absolute sweetheart. I once requested some extra aloo dum and she gave me a generous portionâjust like how a kind neighbour or a caring relative would.
The food here is budget-friendly, super tasty, hygienic, and served with love. It has become my go-to place whenever I donât feel like cooking.
To all the Bengalis in Noida and anyone who wants to try soul-satisfying foodâthis place deserves all your love. Highly, highly...
