Namaste Punjab - Gr Noida West — Restaurant in Dadri

My first time at Namaste Punjab, and here’s my take on it!

Ambience- 4/5 Food- 3/5 Price- 3/5

What I ordered-

Crispy Chilli potato- The only dish we all loved and was 5/5. Absolutely delicious and recommended.

Murg tikka 1/5- I’m a pure vegetarian, but a few of my family members have non veg so reviewing as per their experience. This was by far the worst murg tikka they had, it was rubbery and the taste wasn’t good.

Veg kohlapuri 3/5- Firstly the portion size was really small as compared to the price. It was nowhere spicy and the vegetables were unevenly used. Also, you won’t find any difference between mix vegetable and veg Kolhapuri.

Blue lagoon 4/5- loved this drink, but please make sure you instruct them to get it without ice/less ice if you really want more of the drink. Because at last you will be left with ice water.

Butter tandoori roti and missi roti were fine, no issues with that.

Had green salad that would cost you around ₹220, which is basically sliced onion, cucumber, tomato and radish. Two or three slices of green chilli and a piece of lemon that’s all. Order only if you are fond of having green salad along with your food. Rest I did not find it worth ordering.

You can also try their kala Khatta drink.

As far as Service is concerned, wasn’t much impressed. The seating arrangements were quick, but we were sitting at the table for around 25 minutes without anyone to attend. We had to call someone to take an order around 2-3 times.

Sooraj, later on did great work helping us out with the order and billing.

Namaste Punjab is a family restaurant located in Sector 1 Greater Noida west, Noida Extension in Galaxy blue sapphire. It has a casual atmosphere and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The menu features a wide variety of Indian food, including tandoori chicken, butter chicken, naan, and rice. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The service is friendly and attentive. NP is a great place to enjoy a delicious Indian meal with friends or family.

However, if you're looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious Indian meal, NP is a great choice.

I visited Namaste Punjab, Blue Sapphire Mall, Noida, for my daughter’s birthday and booked a table via Zomato District, which assured a flat 20% discount on the complete bill.

The food was good, but the billing experience was completely unethical. The restaurant had a 1+1 offer on beer and whiskey, which they informed me about upon arrival. Since they knew I had booked via Zomato, they should have clarified any restrictions upfront.

However, when the bill arrived, they split it into two and denied the 1+1 offer, just because I chose to pay via Zomato. This is misleading and deceptive, as I only selected this place because of the assured 20% discount.

To make things worse, they added a 10% service charge without my consent, which is completely unethical. Service charges are voluntary, and no customer should be forced to pay them without prior approval.

If a restaurant cannot honor its listed discounts and engages in unfair billing practices, it should not be on Zomato. I have dined at many Zomato-partnered bars, and when a flat discount is mentioned, it is always applied to the total bill without such tricks.

I would not recommend this place if you're booking via Zomato. They mislead customers, add hidden charges, and refuse to honor offers. Be careful...
