We stepped into Haven for Sunday brunch and also to shoot for my husbands food channel on YouTube- chompingchampion.. Haven is in the basement and has a tiny sitting area on the ground level. We reached at 1:45pm as on the net it was stated that Haven opens at 2pm We were asked to wait till 2pm in the teenie tiny cafe on the GF … as the restaurant per-say was being cleaned and dusted . Meanwhile we ordered a Mexican hot coffee. After a while we asked if we could go to the restaurant. To our shock there were already some 7 adults and about 10 children seated and enjoying a meal ! When we asked the head server ( who takes orders ) why we were stopped upstairs? He had no idea about it. Haven has a large seating capacity of about 40 adults and more space in the form of cushions and daris etc. anyway we found a space in the corner for some privacy to shoot the food.. but soon moved from there bcz of flies ! Haven servers take time. So if you are in a rush.. pls don’t visit it. It is a nice place barring all that I have stated above … very casual.. you can enjoy.. pass time with games and books stacked up on wooden shelves .. you can sprawl around and no one will say a thing. Have meetings or work on your laptop.. for this Haven deserves 5 /5 for the concept. But Indians have the talent to turn a nice thing into bad. Servers won’t come to table unless called. If there is noise from other tables or children shouting, running around.. you simply have to bear it. We ordered ; Chicken meat sandwich and Cheesy Crispy chicken steak The former — was a sandwich made out of croissant.. it looked nice in the picture. The filling was enough.. but the croissant was not at all flaky . We had to chuck most of it… bcz who wants to eat kacha maida. The latter was a good dish. It deserves to be complimented. 🌟👌 We sat for about 1.5 hours. This was the 2nd time we visited Haven It’s a family space.. so mothers with young children can easily meet here to catch up and kids will be out of their hair … as there is plenty to keep them busy.
