After hearing numerous recommendations from friends and watching food vloggers rave about Al-Zahid, I finally decided to visit this popular eatery located in Quresh Nagar, also known as Kasabpura. Here’s my detailed experience:

Parking and Ambiance: Parking was a significant challenge. The area is quite congested, and finding a spot can be a real hustle. As for the ambiance, don’t expect fine dining. The setting is modest, reflecting a typical bustling street eatery vibe. The surroundings are filled with the strong smell of butchery, which might be off-putting to some.

Food and Taste: Al-Zahid is renowned for its chicken lollipops, which were indeed the highlight of the meal. The combination of green chutney, onions, lemons, and the chicken lollipops was quite good. The chutney added a refreshing zing to the dish, and the onions and lemons complemented the lollipops well. However, the taste was similar to many other places in Delhi, so it wasn’t a standout experience that left me speechless.

Worth the Hype? Was it worth the hype? I’d rate it a 7.5/10. The chicken lollipops were good, but not extraordinary. They were enjoyable, but not unique enough to warrant the hype. It’s a place worth visiting once, but not necessarily a spot I’d go out of my way to return to.

Overall Experience: Overall, Al-Zahid offers a decent culinary experience, primarily if you’re a fan of chicken lollipops. The ambiance and parking issues might be a deterrent, and the butchery smell in the surroundings can be overwhelming. Whether you enjoy it or not will depend on your personal taste and tolerance for the setting.

In conclusion, Al-Zahid is worth a try, especially if you’re curious about the hype. However, manage your expectations and be prepared for a one-time experience that may not stand out among the many other...

Hidden gem for chicken lollipop lovers!!! Google map will help you reach Eidgah road, but to reach the restaurant, just ask people around. Coming on to food..

I had best chicken lollipop here. Have been here 5 times, not dissappointed once!!! ONLY FOCUSING ON CHICKEN LOLLIPOP

A coke, A half kg of chicken lollipop + their chutney and onion... Ohh divineee.... Worth every penny and every struggle to reach there.

Tried their chicken afghani too, all those who love buttery and creamy kind of chicken, will love it!!

On a kind note- YEAH CAR CAN REACH THERE, Infact mostt of the time, we have to had meal in our car, bcoz of the CROWD, try to reach by 9-9.30, after 10pm its veryyyy crowded.. NOT A VERY NEAT AND CLEAN RESTAURANT... but again their lollipop is BEST...

Enjoyed here with Crispy Chicken Lollipop, Green Chatni, Tandoori Roti and Butter Chicken. Lollipop was too much crispy but Chicken butter was not tasty at all. Tandoori Roti was also not good as it was not backed completely. The tastiest item was that Green Chatni that was cold, and served several times whenever asked. Service was good and place was very neat and clean. Menu was available online scanning QR Code and payment totally in cash as no paytm no phonpe option is available. Overall it was good to visit this place and enjoy with the famous crispy...
