We made an online reservation through Google (which made the reservation through Zomato) for noon today (May 12, 2024). Their own website Bohca.in says they open every day at noon. We were told the restaurant is open at noon but they won’t serve anything until 12:30. What are customers supposed to do for that half your? They wouldn’t let us sit down nor did they offer water or anything. Once 12:30 hit, then they spoke to us again informing us that they no longer serve brunch. Why they couldn’t inform us at noon is beyond me. We talked to a manager type who parroted back “we don’t serve until 12:30 and we don’t offer brunch”. She didn’t care one bit about the great inconvenience the restaurant caused us. It was beyond her comprehension that what we experienced was BAD. I suppose bad service is business as usual for them. That’s why they add on a mandatory 10% service fee, so you’re forced to pay for bad service. As a consolation, they suggested we dine at their sister restaurant next door. There’s no way I would spend any money at their establishments. FYI, we were told they only take reservations over the phone. We suggested they remove themselves for online reservations through Google and Zomato so future customers won’t think they have a reservation when they really don’t. Despite expressing my intention to purchase a bottle, the guest relations girl exhibited an attitude that persisted throughout our interaction. I attempted to convey my interest in a bottle purchase, but unfortunately, her demeanor seemed unaffected, impacting the overall experience negatively.
