The age old restaurant which started as a small Dhabha or the village eating joint popular among the highways of North India is now a landmark food destination. The menu is strictly vegetarian serving from traditional Indian dishes to some of the so called popular Chinese food. Originally serving dal Makhani, the black lentil dish cooked with tomatoes and butter and Shashi paneer, the cheese dish of the Mughal empire now has an elaborate menu to satisfy the food urge of the foody North Indian. The restaurant also has starters cooked in tandoor. Chinese menu is elaborate too serving from the noodles to honey potatoes. Overall one can find the food of his choice here. Situated right in the middle of market parking is a bit tedious to find. Saturday and Sundays are risky as the customer numbers are very high so take time to c come and saviour the taste. Decent place for a family get-together. Their revamped look is nice, something pleasing to the eye in that space. However, the food is average. Their staters are good (we had dahi kebab, paneer tikka, french fries and honey chilli potatoes along with tomato soup). All solid food was great, however soup was very bad. The same trend happened in the main course. Dum aloo kashmiri and malai kofta were good, but their dal makhni seemed uncooked and even tasted stale. Overall, you can visit the place for a quick meal but do not expect too much on the taste front. very bad experience, they do not know how handle customer on dinning, staff including owner showing busy in unethical work, behavior including attending customer impacts more rather than ambience of restaurant. at the time of dinning table cleaning, food order, order deliver and billing all are worst experience... being an advocate i will refer the restaurant details to FSSAI, MCD, GST and Income Tax department for more inquire about...
