Extremely Poor and sad manager and assistant staff….
Shocked to see this kind of Manager in hospitality.
I have been going to Elmas from last 8 years I love the food and taste…. But staff the mr. manager has super attitude. He is so arrogant and do not care about customer. My friend comes from all the way from Gurgaon just eat baked Camembert and scone today we ordered Caesar salad and they served non veg Caesar salad and we were served non veg salad and we said we need veg.. but they were so ignorant about our need and said it’s written in the menu it’s chicken salad and it’s only served non veg Caesar salad only everywhere and dressing is also with fish oil n etc…. Point was not that we were served non vegetarian salad point we were not even asked for anything else on top they were convincing us we made mistake and made us feel so uncomfortable.. we ate just two of us Camembert. They did not ask for anything else they acted very cool as if it does not matter to them if we eat or leave or don’t eat. Upon asking I said who is the manager and owner manager himself said I am the manager and owner doesn’t stay in india… This is how the attitude of two of them there… I am saying in this time of covid people are jobless and these 2 don’t even care for it.. I really think they don’t deserve to be there as I told them this also and not once they were apologetic about it… I am amazed such managers are there in the hospitality that too restaurant like Elmas… We love food there but stuff is worst. We told we will never come again still they didn’t bother …I feel so sorry for the owners they don’t know what kind of manager they have there… disappointed big time… Certainly will not go there and will tell all my friends also not to go anymore there because of them and will tell all n every time to others about this...
Read moreI invited a friend to join us at Elma's—a spot that used to be one of my favourites—and was left embarrassed by the experience.
It was the first time I ordered coffee there and was surprised to be served a cup of what they call 'cappuccino': brewed using stale-tasting beans and artificial-feeling milk.
I felt that we might be better off with a pot of Earl Grey but the tea we were served tasted nothing like it. Upon enquiring, the staff said that this was Darjeeling Tea and insisted that this is what we had ordered. When we clarified that we had ordered Earl Grey, the staff adamantly refused to acknowledge their mistake and angrily stormed off with the cups; replacing them with what they claimed was Earl Grey, even though the tea we were served did not smell or taste anything like it.
My all time favourite red velvet cake was still relatively okay, but several notches lower than what I have had here in the past.
The furniture was rickety, the washroom mirror dirty and the entrance shabby with several persistent beggars.
I am super disappointed to find one of my old favourites be met...
Read moreA fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The food at Elma's Brasserie is absolutely phenomenal. I had the vegetarian platter with its delicious hummus, babaganush, pita bread, and falafel, along with a perfectly cooked Margherita pizza. To drink, I enjoyed a refreshing cold coffee and a unique apple and beetroot juice. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful and my friend and her daughter agrees to this—truly 5-star food. The service was also top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The speed and quality of the service were impeccable, earning a solid 5 stars. The atmosphere was lovely and comfortable, though perhaps a small place for a completely relaxed vibe, so I'd give it 4 stars. Overall, Elma's Brasserie offers a superb culinary experience with outstanding food and exceptional service. I highly...
