Located near Sukhdev Vihar metro station, Jaatre is a small batch ice cream parlour. From exit gate 1, Jaatre is walking distance from the metro station, right at the traffic light intersection.

Before entering itself, you are met with a cute chalkboard which has the different ice creams they have written out and you literally enter ice cream paradise.

Jaatre is a small parlour. By no means do they claim to be extravagant on any level. Their ice cream scoops however are droolworthy! They have four categories to choose from: classics, sorbet, two of a kind and fresh fruits! I wanted to try all the categories, so ordered one from each!

From the classics, I went for the chocolate scoop and it was phenomenal. The scoop had a rich and creamy cocoa flavour. From the sorbet range, the mango red chilli really intrigued me. It is what it claims: a sorbet with unique flavours. If you are someone who likes sorbets, go try their two flavours; they other flavour they have is Jamun Jeera.

Moving on to two of a kind, I ordered a scoop of vanilla and blueberry which was really generous with blueberries. Lastly from the fresh fruits category, I opted for the ratnagiri mango and this was yummy as well.

The best part about jaatre is the fact that they have a small backyard with a table and chairs where you van bask in the sun and have yummy ice cream al fresco. Moreover, they serve scoops in coconut shells which is such a unique thing. Highly organic and reusable: talk about sustainability! Big thumbs up to the team for ditching plastic/paper cups for the icecreams. They started out in October 2017 and already have great reviews. The service was smooth and the people really cordial!!
