Govardhan Vegetarian — Restaurant in Delhi

It's a good restaurant, serving Chinese, North and South Indian food. Ambience is good. I didn't like sambhar taste. It was a bit sweet. Also their serviCe was a bit slow as far as serving sambhar is concerned. but good thing is that you have option to choose sambhar with onion or without onion. We ordered chaap masala, aalu bharwan and spring rolls in starters. Chaap and spring roll were good but aalu bharwan was not that good. It wasn't spicy at all. In soups we had ordered tomato soup and sweet corn soup. Both taste well. In main course we ordered rava masala dosa with onion and one rava masala dosa without onion. Also we had ordered Onion uttam and one south Indian platter. All the dishes were good. Dosa was crispy . South Indian platter had many varieties like was more than sufficient for one person. Only thing that felt like a spoiler was the sambhar. In drinks we ordered fruit punch based on their staff recommendation. But it was not that good in taste. Some other drink can be tried instead of Fruit Punch. Overall a good restaurant. Probably they can improve further by adding se good cocktails to their menu as options are...

Today I attended a birthday party at this place and overall experience was pathetic. Pathetic service, pathetic food, pathetic environment, pathetic Manager and Staff. ACs were not at all working one has to stand just at front of ac to at least get some air and staff simply denied to listen and was just arguing that our guests are more. Snacks served were extremely cold, food served was stinking and way bad in taste. They didn't even have enought space to serve the dinner. At the time of payment manager only had one thing to say " agar aap kami nikalna chaho to kitni bhi nikal loge humare hisab se to sab thik hua hai". Extremely unprofessional discussion from their side.

Even other families who went there for dinner were having similar experience.

I would not recommend anyone to use Goverdhan resturant for any purpose, if this is the last place to go then please cancel your olan...
