One of the horrifying experience I have at this restaurant. I'm a regular visitor at this place since my father introduced it to me at the age of 6, we used to go there from that time and my favourite delicacy is the MASALA DOSA, a dish I got introduced to by my father at this place due to his recommendation of multiple times having the same masala dosa at their place. But yesterday on a lazy Sunday afternoon I thought of getting my lunch here prior to shopping in the bustling market of kamla nagar. We thought of having our tummies full before we go shop-hopping. So the scene started at when I ordered the MASALA DOSA and it came to my table and I jumped over to fill my empty tummy with a dish so near my heart, but to my surprise it felt way too salty I thought it must be the sambar so I tasted it seperately, sambar felt fine then I tasted the dosa separately and here is the problem. Salt was way too much in the dosa, so instinctively I told the waiter that it's too salty and if you don't believe me you can taste it too. To which he replied it's not like that other guests are eating too, I replied I don't know about everyone else but you can check for yourself, to which he refused (obviously) and replied by saying that I might not know much about dosa as I won't have eaten the south Indian cuisine. To give a background I'm a big time food lover and have a tendency to try everything I can get my hands on and to give perspective I recently visited madurai and had dosa, idli & vadas only for whole 2 days of my visit. (Photo no. 3 & 4 in banana leaves) After this I called the manager and complained about my experience with the dosa and the waiter and to my surprise the manager was rude and thought of rectifying my complaint by saying we can't do anything about it, you just can order anything else (in a rude manner just because I wasn't dressed well, I was wearing my regular crocs, a comforting tee and my regular jeans, also carrying my helmet because I don't want to roam around in a car on a Sunday in over-occupied streets of kamla nagar). After this behaviour I finished my meal and asked for the bill to which they offered a cup of ice cream (some kind of disaster management, I guess) which I refused and asked politely to hand over the bill which I got 5 mins later. And when I looked at the bill it contained only the bill of other item other than the masala dosa to which I enquired and they said it's on the house. I felt like they are either trying to buy my bad experience or simply bribing me to keep my feelings and my voice quiet. I refused to pay in half and demanded the full bill then other guy (who resembled to be the owner as I have seen generations at their resturant) asked politely to pay in half but I denied again and I asked them please sir I request you with my folded hands please give me my full bill and this drama went on for 10 more mins before they agreed to accept the full payment and in between they offered me to deduct only partial amount and I again insisted to deduct my full amount. After so much they just deducted a round figure amount and then I left because I was feeling awful at their hospitality.
To sum it all, they should never judge a customer on their attire nor they should be rude to their customers and a feedback from a customer should be taken positively.
All in all I don't think I'm ever going back to them again nor am I suggesting anyone to go. I don't know how much this review of mine can have a effect or to be honest I don't think it will have a impact on them. But I'll be happy at bigger food chains as they have standardized their food, their behaviour and how they treat us.
(P.S :- I don't like tomatoes so please ignore the tomato peeled out...

No Gajar in it, and how mixed veg can have so much gravy? It should be dry sabji. It looks- Matar paneer instead of Mixed Veg. Also, It was Completely "Feeka" like seriously they forgot to add the salt.
Laccha paratha Is made up of maida. Parantha Should always be made up from Aata.
Now Come to the Spring Roll, I have Specially Send the message or delivery Instructions to send the spicy Sauce along with Spring roll. They have sent Nothing. I Mentioned Spicy Because Once when I ate Spring rolls in their Cafe, they gave Normal Catchup Instead of Spicy one but this time they didn't even send any type of sauce. Let's Consider they didn't read the Instructions but still they should have sent any type of sauce at least. How can someone Eat spring Roll without Sauce?
Worst Experience! Didn't...
Read moreVisited this place with my family for dinner. The interiors are nice but the service is really very slow plus THE FOOD is really average and a little overpriced as per the quality. We had a lot of items Out of which only dal makhni and paneer butter masala was good and Tandoori chaap. Rest of the food was very average. The pav were oily and didn’t even roasted well. The spring rolls were good. The chilly potatoes was very very hard to chew. The noodles had a bland taste. For drinks we shakes and Mojito and both were below average. Also, the restaurant is registered with Dineout but when asking about the discount, the owner said you’ve to finish the food within 1.5 hour max and it’s of no profit to the restaurant when dineout provides discount. I’d really appreciate if the restaurant shall remove itself from the platform if they aren’t willing to offer discount to...
