A Delightful Experience at Gulab Sweets, Pitampura I recently visited Gulab Sweets in Pitampura for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations! My brother had highly recommended this place, so I decided to check it out since it was conveniently close to my CAT coaching center. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the ambience and decoration—truly mesmerizing. It's easily one of the most spacious and beautifully designed sweet shops I've ever seen. I started with the Rabdi Rasmalai, which my brother insisted was their specialty. He wasn't wrong! The Rasmalai was so soft and creamy, it melted in my mouth. It was absolutely delicious, and words can’t do it justice. I also tried a variety of other sweets like Jalebi, Gulab Jamun, and Raj Kachori. Each one was fantastic and had a unique, authentic taste. I couldn’t resist packing some sweets for my friends and family. Overall, Gulab Sweets is a fantastic place to indulge in traditional Indian sweets. It’s definitely giving tough competition to big names like Bansiwala, Bikanervala, and others. Highly recommend!

Originally famous for rewadi and gajjak but now every type of Indian sweets are available. Indian snacks like gil gappe, bhalla papri tikki etc are also available. North Indian thali is also available. Quality is quite good but prices are on higher side. The most attractive and best thing is thier presentation.Their staff people are well mannered and they know how to behave. They are very polite. The ambience and the atmosphere of the place is really nice. the floors, tables are clean. The taste of the food is also good. I prefer ‘Jalebi’ they are best. Their infrastructure is also good. Complete value for money. Buts it's not pocket friendly , prices are quite high

Ordered Samosa, moong dal halwa and dhokla. I was not expecting Samosa to be hot as understandably mine was a delivery order with delivery time around 20 minutes but yet the samosa was like prepared 5-6 hours ago or they packed stale/cold samosa knowing it is anyway a delivery order. Tasteless and worthless samosa. Moong dal halwa was like they’ve forget to add desi ghee. Too dry and too much sugar. On top of it some artificial fragrance was added which took the halwa down the level that we had to throw it. Does not look like they have basic quality of staff who can at least prepare at least basic stuff to even basic standards, forget high quality. Waste of money.

Nice but very expensive. May be few people not agree with my comment, but trust me you can easily buy better quality sweets with more purity in less price from Garg sweets sector 7 or Punjab sweets. Gulab sweets was a quality once upon a time, now they only sell brand value and name on high price. Trust me am a big fan of sweets I don't felt anything special except costly packing and glamorous outlet. Staff is very rude they behave like you are begging from them. All am cutting long thing into short they not treat customer like a customer. They make you feel if you want to buy you can come else they don't care. Am living in rohini since 1996. Trust me once buy any sweet from Garg sweets or Punjab sweets and compare with Gulab sweets. And one more last thing that i needs to mention here. One of Gulab sweets worker(ex halwai) he was from Madhya Pradesh(MP) now a cab driver in my company. Once he gave me a chance to visit manufacturing outlet in Rithala village trust me guys you will stop eating sweets from these big brands after seeing this. Old sweets mixed up with fresh sweets and again displayed on outlet. They don't waste their old stuff, I saw with my eyes how old milkcake and other khota stuff was mixed with new one these all things happens during festive seasons especially on Diwali or holi. I saw this incident on Diwali. Since then i never buy sweets from big big outlets. My last but not least suggetion and observation is neither go with huge big brands nor go with so local and small shops (in cities) go with some normal, reputed and middle type sweet shops you will get better quality, price and taste. Yes small shops in villages or small towns definitely offer better quality...

A costly mithai (Indian sweets) shop on the main road.

Goods : 1)One generally gets good quality sweets. 2)One can ask for sweets in bulk, with a good looking packing if the boxes.3)A very big brand. 4)People can sit and eat.

Bads:

  1. Arrogant staff (The staff knows that Gulab is a big brand)

  2. Never lets you taste a sweet before purchase (Purchase it or leave)

  3. Very costly, almost double than the market.

  4. As the brand is famous, a lot of customers usually visit the store which creates a lot of car parking issue as the store is on the main road and no parking space at all. One usually finds a traffic jam in Fron of the store. I sincerely believe that it is the store owner's ( Here its Gulab's Management) responsibility to provide enough parking guards on the main road to make the commuters travel least difficult as possible. Or the Traffic police should challan the management for the same.

  5. Last year I purchased almost 7 box ghevar, 1kg each (Two days before teej) to gift it to our reletives and one for our self consumption, as there was huge rush so was the demand.

On actual consumption of the Ghevar at home I found it one of the most pathetic Ghevars I ever had. The bread of the ghevar was very hard (Should be highly spongy instead) and was dripping in Chashni as if some amateur chef has made it and was dark brown as burnt.

On making a complaint at the store the staff refused to admit the fault at first, but the management agreed later that its there product, however they clarified that one should expect such quality due to huge rush and high work pressure on our staff due to festive season. (Well that was the most ridiculously honest reasons of providing a...

My first visit to Gulab Sweets and What an exciting shopping experience! You enter this rose coloured store filled with the most exotic Indian Sweets and Savouries, all made in pure clarified butter (Indian desi-ghee), and oh so delicious! My husband is carrying 12 kilogram boxes of assorted 'Gulab Sweets' to America as Gifts for his friends. While we were awaiting the packing of our order, the Shop Head Mr. Sandeep Kumar offered us a cup of tea, followed by the most delicious and largest "Purees, that were both crispy and soft, accompanied by a bowl of potato vegetable, a bowl of delicious Gram (Channa), a bowl of yogurt with some delicious sweet dumplings in it. The potato vegetable has to be tasted to believe how exotically delicious it is, with secret rare spices. We could see the all the visiting customers thoroughly enjoying their ordered table meals.

The shop is very clean and hygienic, all shop personnel were masked, and hand sanitisers placed strategically within easy reach of all visiting customers.

In closing, I would recommend all visitors to India, Delhi, and the Local population, to visit Gulab Sweets, for a "Lifetime Experience" of Pure Exotic Sweets and Savouries". You will become an instant Addict, and will want more...

Thank you Gulab Sweets and Mr Sandeep Kumar, for the most wonderful, memorable, first time experience.

I will be back.

Dr Mary...
