4-Star Review for Sita Ram Diwan Chand Chole Bhature
Sita Ram Diwan Chand is a legendary spot for chole bhature lovers, and it lives up to its reputation with its delectable flavors and consistent quality. This iconic eatery is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic North Indian street food.
Food Quality and Taste: The chole here are perfectly spiced, rich, and flavorful, paired with soft, fluffy bhature that are not overly greasy. The tangy pickle and fresh salad served alongside add a refreshing balance to the meal. The portion sizes are generous, making it a satisfying experience. While the taste is outstanding, some might find the spice level slightly higher than expected.
Service: The service is quick and efficient, even during peak hours. The staff is polite and ensures that orders are served promptly. However, the sheer rush at times can make the experience feel a bit hurried, especially for first-time visitors.
Ambience: Being a traditional street food outlet, the focus here is more on the food than the ambience. The seating area is basic but clean and well-maintained. The hustle and bustle add to its charm, but it may not be ideal for those looking for a relaxed dining atmosphere.
Hygiene: Hygiene standards are commendable for a street food setup. The kitchen is visibly clean, and the staff handles food with care. Still, due to the crowd, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area during rush hours can be challenging.
Value for Money: The pricing is reasonable and offers great value for the quality and quantity of food served. This makes it an excellent choice for those seeking a pocket-friendly meal without compromising on taste.
Conclusion: Sita Ram Diwan Chand is a chole bhature institution that deserves its fame. While the food is undoubtedly delicious and worth the visit, minor improvements in managing the crowd and enhancing the dining experience could elevate it to a perfect 5-star rating. Nevertheless, it’s a place that every foodie should experience at least once. Highly...
Read moreI went from Bangalore to this place to try there legendary chola bhatura and I am very happy I have been to this place . It deserve respect and hype over YouTube or Google is absolutely right . I can say it’s one the best I have eaten and full 5 points or star I ll give it . Bhatura was awesome , if you rip open bhatura from centre you ll see paneer stuffing which makes it very very delicious . I can easily say it’s one of the best bhatura I had and I ll always suggest and prefer here to go again n again . When it comes to chole it was very very delicious and yummy . Many people might not agree on chole part as some like very spicy chole or over spicy one but here it was light and yet very delicious . They also give option of tangy awla pickle which is good try and different along with onion and radish . There chilli with awla is mediocre being Rajasthani or banglorite I was bit disappointed on chilli part . But they also give lassi and it was lovely to drink with chole bhature . Lassi also I would rate very high . Last but not least they also give nimbu pani with black salt which is also try able . I would recommend to have chole bhature with lassi and coming and having all the way from Bengaluru was worth going here . For outsider to find this place is bit tricky but they can also catch metro which is hardly a half km away naming some ashram station and enjoy the food with ease of transport . I love...
Read moreIf you haven't eaten Sitaram Diwan Chand's Chole Bhature in Pitampura, you're missing out on the best. Located in DDA Market MD Block, next to Maya Muni Ram Hospital, this place is a foodie paradise for delhi wallas. A sunday morning with chole bhature is incomplete for many of us and this outlet ranks in the top 5 chole bhature outlets of Delhi.
The only place where you get bhature’s heated on a tawa instead of coming out of that heated oil filled karahi, still somehow they managed to give you one of the tastiest bhaturas. May be that is why this brand has sustained itself for more than 50 years.
The price of one full plate (2 pcs) is Rs 75/-, considering the taste and quality of food i will say that is inexpensive. If you order at home they provide a good quality of packaging. The only thing you might consider while ordering online is the quantity of chole. So either you have to mention it or you can order one extra plate of chole which will cost you Rs. 20/-.
Overall i will rate my food experience at 9/10. Highly...
