Kake Da Hotel - Malviya Nagar — Restaurant in Delhi

This place is love, I have been there more than 5 times. This is my go to place if I want some North Indian really good food and best thing they cook everything in butter and ghee. Yumm!🤤

The place is quite small. I haven't visited another branches since this one is quite close to my place.

In non veg options I loved their Bhatti ka Murgh which is a must try, followed by Bhatti Chicken Tikka if you like boneless. Their basic Chicken Curry is good and Handi Chicken is good as well if you like a bit spicy. I had Chicken Bharta as well, which I imagined would have boiled egg pieces as well, since I have had chicken bharta before in other places. But this chicken bharta doesn't have eggs and if you like capsicum then it's good to go, I had literally removed capsicum and then had the chicken alone.

I have had their Mutton Rogan Josh and Rara Meat, which were really nice, Rara Meat had mutton pieces along with minced pieces of same in the curry. Mutton Seekh Masala is as well delicious.

They have a lot of veg options as well. I had their Dal Makhani, extremely delicious 🤤 It was slow cooked on coal and the taste was just yum. Mushroom Achari Tikka, I will not recommend this as this was toooo achaaari for me!! If you like tangy mango pickles, definitely go for it. Kadhai Paneer is good and safe choice. Dal Tadka has the homely feeling.

They have different varities of rotis and naans and kulchas, I usually go for same old Butter Roti or Steamed Rice or Veg Pulao. Veg Pulao is really good.

They have chinese as well which I have never tried nor willing to try. The drinks options are really less. At times they won't even have cold drinks or even fresh lime soda.

This is definitely a really good place to visit when you really want to have some soul satisfying food. Also they have options of ordering portion size, half and full in non veg options. Going to try some other...

I had ordered Kadai Chaap by 9:30 PM, it's delivered by 10:30 PM. I am eating it on 12:00 AM, I called to restaurant that food is smelling it's not fresh. They told me food delivered at your place before 2 hours & climate is too high you shold eat the food on same time. We can't to do anything on it. This is totally worst experience from a restaurant where i am ordining from past so many years. And this the way they are providing services on hotel industry. It's totally disaster experience which I never expect at from 'KAKE DA HOTEL SINCE 1931'

This restaurant is unhygienic. Their staff member was suffering from severe cold and sour eyes while he was still in the kitchen.

I ordered kadhai paneer and mixed veg.

The paneer in kadhai paneer was not fresh.

The worst was their mixed veg, it was made from rotten vegetables and has a very bad smell.

When I raised the issue and I asked to check, they were not ready to accept that the mixed veg is rotten. I even asked the other customer to check and they accepted that it has a very bad smell.

I had to leave, as the restaurant's employees were not ready to accept their fault.

How bad it is that they are playing with our health. Never choose this restaurant.
