Mangal Sweets — Restaurant in Delhi

Mangal Sweets It was not a dine in experience at the Mangal Sweets. I had made an online order from Mangal Sweets through Swiggy. Food was not at all warm. Okay, that is bearable.

What all I ordered? -- Mix Veg Uttampam (1) -- Masala Dosa (1) -- Idlii Sambhar (2 idliis) -- Pav Bhaji (1)

Worst experience was with Idlii Sambhar (2 idliis) Price - INR 66 It has plastic polythene in the one of the idli. Plastic polythene -- DANGEROUS!!! I had raised this issue on the Swiggy account.

--Pav Bhaji (1) Bhaji taste was good. Had butter floating on the top. Price - INR 54

-- Mix Veg Uttampam (1) Bland taste. Literally not at all good. Not warm at all.

-- Masala Dosa (1) Price - INR 94 Okay taste. Not warm at all.

Sambhar was the only thing that tasted well and...

It was an evening well spent. The banquet on the 3rd floor was used for the occasion. It was big enough for a small gathering of about a 100 people, might've been lesser in fact. You could ask how many they would accommodate as there was still space left while people were having their dinner. It had a balcony with wall water spouts mimicking a waterfall setting. You may choose to operate it. The balcony could also easily settle a standing crowd of 70. Though any higher would mean risking an overcrowded experience. Although sweets and other items are overpriced as compared to other vendors but the quality makes up for it...However different billing counters for different items makes it a waste of time and cumbersome for the customers...Add to this the arrogant and rude attitude of the staff(the order taker on phone is the biggest one) and the overall experience is not on the positive side...The best thing is that they keep increasing the price of items on a weekly basis and there is no one to check the same...One sweet which u will get for 450rs/kg will be 475 next week and 490 the next week.No explanations given..They have established a monopoly with no checks from the...
