A restaurant located at a not-so-hard-to-locate place in Okhla. The tables are all of plastic, so are the chairs. And the thing about plastic is, dust makes it sticky and it felt horrible to eat on them. The food wasn't top notch either. We went there in a group of 5, ordered bunch of "special" chaska rolls, turned out it was a simple chicken roll only worse. Ordered chilli potato thinking it'll be better, but it was crispier than lays chips smh. And the staff, the worst staff I've ever seen in a restraunt. First, the waiter forgets what we ordered and after giving us the 2 chilli potatoes that we ordered, pisses off thinking we ordered one and he gave us one extra. After showing him the bill and proving we did in fact order 2, dude gets mad at us. We ordered 4 special chaska rolls and 1 egg roll (as one of us is vegetarian) and upon asking which one's the egg one, dude says "This one, you blind or what, can't you see?". I'm never stepping in there again. The worst experience one can ever have. Wish I could rate it...
Read morePerfect place for students with a tight budget to grab some food. The place is very spacious and has a wide variety of foods to offer. The ones that tops the menu would definitely be the special kheer, which ofcourse does serve as a dessert but to satiate your hunger, they have some delicious variety of rolls to offer and each one is unique in its taste, and I would personally suggest you to try the chicken tikka roll there. Not to forget they have the special 'chai' that you should definitely try. The location of the restaurant is perfect as it is close to the Jamia girls' hostel and it does often come to the rescue when the 'obvious mess issues' hit us hard!
You can get to this place through both the Okhla Vihar metro station as well as the Jamia Millia Islamia metro station. While you can get to this place through both the stations, Jamia Millia Islamia metro stations might save you a few...
Read moreRelocated now to a new place which can be found by just going in the corner shop just a little bit, you are greeted with chaska. This shop is famous for its chicken tikka rolls which tastes best with Pepsi / Coca Cola. The main thing that distinguishes from its competitors is that instead of using roti, they use Parantha as a base for their chicken rolls which makes them stand out from the crowd. Perfect place to hangout at night if you have a girlfriend or many friends otherwise. One thing to note though due to the cooking process which takes place inside the shop, the air can be spicy which can cause irritation to eyes to the people who...
