Stepped into this outlet on feeling hungry and asking someone about an eatery nearby to Laxmi Nagar Metro Station. The shop was dingy, badly lit and heavily occupied with no provision of fresh air as number of exhausts were throwing air out of the shop but no fresh air in. Paid for a plate of chhole bhature and poori-sabzi for my friend and waited five minutes to get the plates. On reaching to the table found no place to stand as table was badly dirty and wiping cloth was even lying on the table. Onion salad, pickles and green chilli-mango mix were lying on the floor in an open state and people with all sort of dirt in their shoes were standing nearby and relishing these items when served in their plates. Boiled potato placed over the chhole-bhature counter were open and flies flying around. Oil is kadhai was black and water added to chhole curry was of no quality and added directly from the tap. So it might be easy on your pocket but everyone eating out here is inviting diarrhea or food-poisoning. Please be cautious about your health and avoid such places. I can eat anywhere and no issues about it but it matters a lot about hygiene. Shopkeeper is doing brisk business and may be adding atleast a lakh rupees daily in his pocket but he doesn’t bother to store his food items properly, have a boy to clean the tables, add atleast clean water to chhole curry and use some good quality oil for frying purpose. My photos will depict more about it. Overall the taste of chhole bhature I had and poori-sabzi my friend ate was very normal and nothing good about it. Please don't be curious about going out there and invite upset stomach...
Read moreI first tasted Ganesh Kachori Corner’s Chhole Bhature back in 2008, and it quickly became a regular indulgence for me. However, over the years, things have changed. Let’s break it down:
Taste and Flavor: Unfortunately, it appears that the taste has taken a hit. If the flavors are no longer as delightful as they once were, it’s a significant concern. Rating: ⭐⭐ Value for Money: Given the taste degradation, the price becomes even harder to justify. Paying a premium for subpar flavors is disappointing. Rating: ⭐ Renovation Impact: Perhaps the recent renovation affected not only the ambiance but also the core culinary experience. Establishments need to maintain consistency. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Overall Verdict: With the taste decline, Ganesh Kachori Corner’s chhole bhature no longer offer the same value for money. Exploring other options might be wise. Rating: ⭐⭐ In summary, while the memories of their past flavors linger, the present reality falls...
Read moreThis place stands as a benchmark from soo many years for the choley bhature they serve, along with it they also do serve kachori and other few rice items. Well in my opinion the place does serve remarkable choley, ut the area can be kept a little clean or we can at-least demand it to be hygienic, which isn't. But somehow the place always drags you for the flavors they have in the food .Yummy it is indeed.
Laxmi nagar is a very crowded & busy area but very famous for the variety of snacks in every other street. Ganesh Corner is very famous for the kachori & chole bhature it serves. It is located near laxmi nagar metro station. We had this tasty, cold & malaidaar lassi to beat the heat. You should definitely try this out when you are there cause it's just for 20 bucks & worth it. Looking forward to try their other items soon. A 5 on 5 experience. People on light pocket should not...
