recently had the opportunity to dine at The Golden Leaf Restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of impressive. From the moment I entered, the warm hospitality and elegant ambiance set the tone for an enjoyable evening. This place lives upto its name. Absolute legend in terms of disservice to the idea of fine dining it has become. Not that it was any better before the pandemic induced lockdowns, but the quality of service looks to have only nosedived since then, more in line with over-all decline in "service" component of hospitality sector.

During the evening, it absolutely goes haywire, no one seems to have any clue what is happening and who is doing what. Like there's some sort of competition going on amongst attendents for who can deject the customers more. It's especially painful, because the other outlet of same management i.e. Modern Cafe, which is right next to it, actually looks like taking more efforts to provide the customers with best dining experience.

Unwanted symphony of dish and cutlery bashing, cupboards and drawers thumping never allows you to feel alone.
