Agarwal Sweet Palace — Restaurant in East Zone

Looks like the shop is under renovation. I could see their shelf and false walls with primer coating done.

Yesterday i bought 1.5 kgs of Motichoor Laddu and it tastes like chemical (turpentine, primer or paint smelly taste) on the layer that exposed on the sweet. I am glad i didnt serve / distribute this to my guests as i intended. I am going to return this and claim refund. Hopefully no issues there. This post is for you to be aware of this specific outlets condition and to suggest that you taste the sweet before you buy (especially bulk). Though i asked for freshly made laddoos as its bulk, they said what they have in display is fresh. Apparently the color and taste didnt look like it after i consumed it.

Overall the shop is in shabby state as of today, unclean, their furnitures are old and unkept. Even the drinking water facility they have kept is worse and you wont be motivated to drink from it.

Severely overpriced and not at all worth it. There's 3 tables in this highly cramped chaat shop, chaat is served in styrofoam containers and they charge 100 rupees for dahi puri. If you pull one chair to sit, it will hit the chairs of the next table. Not to mention, they have a super tiny washbasin, outside, where you can't even wash hands properly. And there's a huge dustbin just in front of the washbasin, which you'd have to try hard to avoid while washing hands. They say the room (with the 3 tables) has AC, but it is never turned on. The door is always open and you fully hear the bustling Avinashi road traffic. The money you pay has to reflect not just the food, but also the ambience. 100 rs for a chat, in this corner chat shop (don't care about the franchise here, in hopes, it's just like a corner chat shop) is...

Agarwal sweet palace in Coimbatore as branches.. A really nice place for North indian sweets & chats available in Coimbatore.. & I'm found of both.. In chats had ordered dahi kachori,, matar tikki, me n my Mom together couldn't complete a plate,, d quantity n quality is good for the prize.. U can't try all in a day,, Dahi kachori was awesome guys, Some 1 who lyks it should try it... Aloo tikki being huge n thick still was so cripy from outside...liked it.. In sweeta tired monga dal halwa, it was yummy... Badam milk cold my mom liked a lot, I'm not found of any beverage In short must try, u will surely like something..
