This place vibes by default. The dance floor is ecstatic and their Drinks menu is exceptional. The food; not so much.
The service staff were very polite and humble. They patiently wait even as we run through the menu again after mentioning an item or 2. Most staffs at various places do this, but one could see the change in body language. Here, none. The bouncer is also good. Unlike the bouncers I've seen in Bangalore pubs, he speaks little but brings a smile with limited words.
We ordered both veg, non-veg & mocktail. Only Iguana was the best order for us that made the night. Recommend to try it if you like paan/betal leaf flavour; and when you order this, please ask without ice cubes.
We didn't like anything in veg, but had to order because my wife was following a religious practice.
Its advised to reserve tables. We wanted to ones opposite to the bar section (the sofas were comfy) but on weekends they keep the table for close to 6-8 guestes. We were 4, but since we booked it we got the same seats after some discussions. (But we were promised these same seats won't be given for less than 6 guests next time onwards). If you are pregnant, please avoid this seat, since we felt vibrations from the stereo.
Overall: for slow & social drinkers its a greal atmosphere. For non drinkers who go to see the place and try out a few items; the place will be a bit too much owing to the prices and average food.
PS: bills come with service charge. You can ask to remove it and request for another...
Read moreZOI is a beautifully done space â the ambience is definitely one of its highlights. We visited the place on an afternoon and with the warm lighting, chic interiors, and a calm indoor setup made it a lovely place to unwind. We started off with a mocktail called Flirty Pig â a mix of strawberry syrup, litchi juice, and cream. It was a pleasant, creamy drink that leaned toward the sweeter side. We also tried the Smoked Chicken & Mushroom Soup â rich, creamy, and well-balanced, though it had more of a blended consistency without mushroom or chicken chunks. It came with a single piece of chicken on the side, which was an interesting choice. The Margarita Pizza was alright, though the base reminded us a bit of Naan texture. The Gochujang Paneer Sliders didnât quite hit the spot; the sauce didnât quite have the punch youâd expect from a gochujang-based dish. The Parmesan Polenta Prawn didnât quite work for us either â it lacked that distinct prawn flavour and felt a bit underwhelming for its price. The winner of the night was definitely the Chicken Tandoori â full of flavour and perfectly cooked.
Service felt a bit slow and uncoordinated â we had to wait around a bit to catch a staff memberâs attention. Hopefully, this is just a one-off and not a usual thing.
Overall: Lovely space with a unique vibe. While some dishes were great, others didnât meet our expectations. Would love to return and explore more from the menu as the place has a lot...
Read moreWe visited before four days were very disappointed. The service was poorâstaff were unsurprisingly rude, untrained, and lacked basic knowledge about the menu. Rather than approaching our table proactively, they only came around after we called them.
Weâre regulars at the neighboring restaurant, so we expected better. Here, the staff didnât value guests; they spent their time chatting among themselves instead of attending to us. Every face seemed new and inexperienced, making the whole experience feel unprofessionalâparticularly unpleasant when hosting our fellow doctors.
Recommendations for Management:
Train staff in customer service and product knowledge.
Empower servers to approach tables without needing to be signaled.
Foster a guest focused attitude and discourage socializing on the job.
This visit was really disappointing. I hope management takes steps to improve staff attitude and trainingâguests deserve respect and...
