Cigarettes are worst thing there, else I like the place. Good to hang out.

Staff is friendly. Tea and other food ate delicious.

The owner should be careful about the smokers who just sit there and smoke cigarettes one by one.

Yuck smell. 🤮

Update : They recently updated the place with almost double space. The service is changed, they have now token system. Reception man is changed, all staff changed. payment system is changed. New staff is not so friendly. Environment feels weird (specially the arrangement of chairs are really bad) and tooooooo much noisy. I tried adrak mint mug tea with cheese chutney sandwich, tea was good but sandwich is okiesh. The last time I tried was soo good this time not worth the money. Regular persons come to hang out mostly stopped going there nowadays after update.

The sandwiches, bhakri, khari, handvo, and tea are the specialty of CG. CG is spacious with the sofa, high chairs, simple chairs placed in side the cafe, and also outside in open. You will be relieved and receive special vibes over here.

Rates are moderate. Vehicle parking may cause anxiety at peak hours. This place is not for a quick bite and requires time. CG generally takes 30 minutes to prepare your order. Must...

Bit disappointed as we could not get good breakfast restaurant or cafe in Gandhinagar (near to GIFT City) on Sunday morning. It was 9.15 am but still many of usual cafes or snacks outlet were closed. Few options on roadside but not hygiene. We landed at this outlet after reading rating but frankly overrated and zero score on professional resturant. Sunday morning Chai G was 25% occupied with mostly bachelors serving listed items on menu. When we asked what is available guy said check menu. Apart from tea other items were stored in fridge and micro wave before serving. Thepla, Bhakri, Upma,Handvo weren't fresh and reheated before serving.
