Greenland Restro & Cafe — Restaurant in Gandhinagar

We went there either friends and family for dinner. The place has an outdoor setup for eating in open space which is surrounded by fountains.. The overall look or ambience will make you feel great.. But the place has waiting on rush days for outdoor minimum 2hrs and indoor 1hr. So you can say that it's overcrowded space.

Moreover the restaurant is not managed properly. We got our number luckly in 20mintues but we were told to wait as the table by previous guests was left uncleaned. So we waited for 20min more. One can imagine table empty but still waiting!. Than we finally got seated. Plates were rough and edges were broken. No table equipment were placed properly and were brought by telling them for each n everything. Water services were poor. Order was not given at one go as they forgot to serve dal makhni.

Food was below average. As these guys were not able to manage rush. And to our surprise we found a piece of plastic in one cheese Naan while eating. This was in our kids plate. It was horrifying. When we told this to their staff the cost of this was removed from bill.

I had Worst experience. I personally went to restaurant on 4th feb 2023. I wanted to book table for 15 to 20 people. I asked them if you need any advance payment for confirming table for next day they said No. Also i insisted few times if any Requirements for advance payment because on 5th there was Sunday so there might be rush in peak hours. Still they denied to take advance payment in the end i also asked just write down my name just to be sure for 15 to 20 people's table still they denied and they said Sir you can come directly there's no need for advance payment.

On next day me and all other 14-16 people went to restaurant and now the person we talked previous day he said that sorry sir we can't help you now because hall is booked for 100 people. My whole party was spolied because of this behaviour.

Very very bad Experience I'll never tell anyone to visit This Restaurant again.

This is not happened only for one time. The same issue happened with us on 5th September 2022 too.
