Shalimar Xpress Indo Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

Shalimar Express is a 16-guests-at-a-time restaurant tucked amidst several nondescript buildings facing the Chandrashekhar Azad Park in the B Block of Shalimar Garden Extension II in Sahibabad. The air-conditioned restaurant is clean with minimum decor. I tried the chicken lababdar (Rs.500), chicken malai tikka (Rs.280), kadhai soya chaap (Rs.150), and garlic naan (Rs.30), and found the portions generous enough to serve three persons. Thankfully, most dishes are also available in smaller portions at lower rates. The service is quick and polite, and the servers are pleased to accept feedback and work on it. The food is tasty, but don't hesitate to instruct the order taker if you wish to have the kadhai dish to have less spices and the chicken extra tender and succulent.
