Walk In The Woods — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

Pathetic customer relationship. They had no booking for 6th July until yesterday 12:30pm as per their owner Ved Bansal and 6pm i confirmed my booking to Austin, their manager. (Ofcourse everyone check a few options before making any permannent bookings in any restaurant.)And today morning they tell me, they already have the same timeslot booked to someone else. The most horrible experience I have ever had with any restaurant literally. I wish i could put a screenshot of yesterday (but these people have disabled that option) where I ask this manager Austin for scan code so that I can confirm my booking as he only confirmed me on call around 6pm and told me will share scan code. Imagine, post that he got back to me today morning at 11an saying someone else has made the booking. Did not have the audacity to tell this yesterday as i am sure they were waiting for the other party to confirm as from them they would be earning more. I ordered the cake and gave delivery address as theirs that is walk in the woods. I confirmed my relatives as well on the venue. We aren't fools.They didn't even bother to check with me once before giving my time slot to anyone else only because they are getting more money from that party I'm sure. It was my 3YO bday celebration, Austin the manager confirmed the decor at 3500 rs as well inside the restaurant and then suddenly he stops responding Only because the owner was greedy enough to wait for another more profit margin deal, rather than first come first serve.

Austin first said they can't confirm as their is some owner's party. Then when I got upset, he rechecked and gave a different reason that some other peoplw have been booked. Such dual personalities show how negligent and unprofessional they are. They didn't bother to ask me once before,is that what customer relationship this restaurant works on. And then this Austin gives me option to celebrate in their other restaurant but on their terms of ONLY BUFFET. Ridiculous management. One doesn't know whether decoration can happen or not. The owner is just a typical money minded jerk and the manager acts stupid but is very clever only making fool out of ppl. Rather that cooking up stories, if they would have decently called out well yesterday itself they are already booked rather consider 2 options and taking the more profitable booking while keeping me hanging around, I would have appreciated it. I am highly disappointed as I told them its my little one's birthday celebration. The lowest any restaurant can go. Shallow, shallow and shallow.

People pls be aware of making bookings here as money is supreme priority. And they don't bother to check with you before confirming anyone else despite they have taken your number name in...

A dark, not noisy, yet alive ambience offered by walk in the woods with some good food awaits your arrival.

We had a dinner for 5 there on new year's eve.

Interior / ambience - A good dark interior trying to create a atmosphere as one feels like having dinner in the woods with good atmosphere. You can opt to sit in ground floor where there are some aquariums and nice lights. On first floor you will get a feel of caves with low ceiling level and less lights. (4/5)

Hospitality - Good polite staff, what's important is how the staff treats each table, so our neighbouring tables were also entertained wether it was 2 people or a 8 people. Received timely service, and crockery was also of uncommon design. (5/5)

Food - We ordered fried corn with veggies in starters, Punjabi kofta and paneer lababdar in main course. Tandoori roti was the best bread, we didn't find garlic bread garlic naan and pudina paratha at all authentic or tasty. Punjabi kofta was great, paneer lababdar was good too. (4/5)

Not too expensive, Given the unique interior and great taste along with a good service.

Although the menu was north india extensive, no tandoori or continental sizzlers...

Pathetic restaurant and manager (management). This is not at all a fine dining but a different version of fast food restaurant. Three times the manager came to our table asking us to wait outside if we are not ordering anything because we were waiting for few guests. While the starters were being served they started to as us for the main course. When the meal was over the manager came to us and said to pay the bill in the counter because guests were waiting. When argued and questioned the manager says you have occupied the table since 8 o'clock, where does this happen in fine dining? Worst place I have ever seen with worst management. Seems they have kept illiterate people in the team. Asked for feedback form, they did not provide neither gave the phone number of their promoters. Food was also below average. The dish dahi ke Sholey was nothing more than Dahi bhalle fried. All their staters had lots of Garam masala and black Pepper. Shame on such a restaurant and management who knows nothing but to argue with the guest and the type of disrespect given to their guests is beyond words. Please do not go if you want to relax and...
