Anju Celebrity Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

I ordered BUTTER.CHICKEN, after talking to them first, that we do not want chillies. The butter chicken was no where close to Delhi wala butter chicken. It was sharp,.spicy, non palatable and on a score of 10, it is just worth 01 mark. The person attending to call of complaint was RUDE and was adamant claiming he was in kitchen and he had tasted it and it was non spicy. Therefore, customer is a liar. When I said I will write a strong review, he said YES do it and cut the call. Totally non acceptable.

FISH BIRYANI ordered was OILY, such that each grain of rice was oil glued. Least tast, oil dominating fish. Not recommended for ordering THIS BIRYANI. Its an OILY PULAO of FISH.

Chicken Malai Tikka was excellent and packed in Banana leaf. Sweet but fibrous. Worth the try.

In hospitality behavious is important. Hope Management of Anju Celebrity takes note of this.

Anju Bar & Restaurant is a small joint at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa near Goa Shipyard Ltd. Bar is at the ground floor and the bar cum restaurant in the first floor. The ladder to the first floor is a little narrow which would be difficult for aged people to climb.

The waiters are very well behaved and will greet you with smiling face. Interior is just average. One separate family room is also available in the first floor. Dishes are tasty, but quantity is inadequate. Price of dishes is costly.

There is no special parking for four wheeler vehicle, we have to find a place in the main road side. The restaurant is usually not crowded.

We visited Anju Bar and Restaurant during the Shravan period, and our experience was extremely disappointing.

First of all, the food was served very late, which tested our patience.

We clearly ordered veg fried rice, but they brought chicken fried rice, which was unacceptable, especially during Shravan.

Despite asking for drinking water more than 5–6 times, it never arrived.

The service was careless and unprofessional.

And to top it off, the pricing is very high compared to the poor service and wrong orders.

Overall, it was the worst service experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for decent hospitality and...
