Bewitched 'n' Baked by Bar Silva — Restaurant in Goa

Undoubtedly my favourite coffee shop in the whole of Goa and I’m lucky it’s so close to my workplace. I’m writing this review after visiting this place numerous times and I must say it has never disappointed. Besides serving scrumptious food this place is very cozy! The staff here are genuinely nice people and always greet you with a big smile. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they go above and beyond to make your visit comfortable. From the vegetarian selection I love the Korean buns which are a sweet buttery soft brioche bun with a cream cheese garlicky stuffing. I’ve also had the Mini Farmhouse Veg Pizza which is also nice. Quite often I have the Granola smoothie bowl here which is lush but only available before 12pm as is some of the other stuff listed in their breakfast menu. The cream cheese bagelwich has a nice dill creamy spread and is to die for! For the carnivores like me that love their protein there is a huge selection and my favourite are the Bang Bang Chicken Crossaint which is a nice fried chicken in a sweet and spicy mayo with tomato and rocket leaves! Then you have the Breakfast in a Crossaint and the Classic BLT and Tongue in cheek Reuben served in a nice Crossaint burger. The Portuguese custard tarts here are to die for. The tarts are nice, crisp and flaky! I’ve also had the Salted Caramel cupcake which has an amazing gooey salted caramel chocolate centre! The other quick bites I like here are the seasonal mango cheese cake, the Cinnamon rolls, the Pain Au Chocolat as well as the Bolognese beef puff. My friend for some sourdough bread from here and said it was the best he has come across in the state. Now for the coffee. I’m very fussy about my coffee and I must say these guys have managed to source the right beans for my tastebuds. Be it a Flat white or an iced Vietnamese these guys have nailed it!

Bewitched 'n' Baked is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the food is simply irresistible. Their range of delicacies is both unique and delicious — whether it’s the perfectly fluffy cinnamon rolls, the delightful Pastéis de Nata, or the indulgent Korean cheese buns, every bite feels like comfort and joy. The Bang Bang Chicken Croissant is a must-try, and I absolutely loved the Shakshuka eggs paired with a smooth, rich Affogato.

What makes this place extra special, though, is the people. Sajeel Parekh, the owner, sets the tone with his kindness and welcoming nature — not only is he genuinely friendly with customers, but he also treats his staff with so much respect and warmth, which shines through in the way the whole team works together. Myrle, the manager, is one of the kindest and most cheerful people you’ll meet — always welcoming with a smile and genuinely helpful to every customer. The rest of the team, including Zelia, Rhea, and Sam, are equally wonderful, making every visit feel like catching up with friends.
