Its nice to have a prompt reply. Since there was no option to revert your reply, i am writing here. We are repeat customers, and the waiter attending us was actually very rude. We ordered a orange juice and a pineapple juice for kids and he got us both pineapple, when we asked him he felt offended and spoke rude and said u said both pineapple and asked us if we wanted to see what he had written on his order note. We understand he wrote something, but he did not write what we asked. Okay we also understand it was raining and he might have not heard us properly, we kept quite and took both pineapple juice glasses without demanding him to change. He repeated it with our drinks order we kept quite. When we looked for him he was nowhere around, we asked another waiter to get us a drink who never returned to our table. We understand it was beyond time, it was 11.15 pm whn w. No 8 came to our table we told him we have asked for a drink, and he replied us very rudely "11 band manje band kay melchena, tumich manla ni 11 paryant kitchen asta", and that was rude, he cld have just softly told us, no we close everything at 11 and we are not allowed to serve beyond the time. Since we are repeat customers we were very well aware of kitchen time. So Mr. Owner i think ur staff tells you half stories. We were totally fine with everything. And we had just requested and not demanded. And the waiter had not even come to our table to check whether we want anything before closing. We do know the staff there are not robots, and since you care you defend them everytime, its a good thing. But you should also look by a customers angle, we can expect a little respect against the bills we pay. You must rectify your statement of "hypocrisy". There was not a single time he spoke humanly with us.
P. S: your services guys could just repeat the order to cross confirm with the customers evrytime they take order to save their own trouble. And atleast 15 min before they could just walk in to a table to ask if there is anything more needed. We abide all the rules. Also we have been ignoring all his arrogance until he gave...
Read moreA Disappointing Dining Experience
I recently had the opportunity to dine at a restaurant that left me thoroughly unimpressed. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that this was not going to be a pleasant experience.
Firstly, let's talk about the food. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for delicious veg options, but what was served to me was far from satisfying. The quality of the vegetables was questionable, and the overall taste was simply awful. It felt like no effort was put into creating a flavorful and enjoyable vegetarian meal.
To make matters worse, dining here felt like an open invitation for mosquitoes and insects to join us at the table. It was incredibly frustrating to constantly swat away these unwanted guests while trying to enjoy my meal. This lack of cleanliness and pest control made the dining experience extremely unpleasant.
Moreover, despite the restaurant's potential to be nature-oriented, it was quite the opposite. The ambiance lacked any natural elements, and the overall atmosphere felt artificial and devoid of any connection to nature. A missed opportunity, indeed, considering how a nature-inspired setting could have enhanced the overall dining experience.
Lastly, the staff's attitude was another significant letdown. Instead of a warm and welcoming environment, I was met with a team that seemed disinterested and indifferent to the patrons. Their lack of enthusiasm and customer service skills only added to the disappointment of the evening.
In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was far from enjoyable. With tasteless food, an influx of insects, a lack of nature-oriented ambiance, and an unfriendly staff, I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. It's crucial for any establishment to prioritize quality, cleanliness, and customer service to create a positive impression, and unfortunately, this restaurant fell short on...
Read moreJust a good ol’ place serving good ol' comfort food probably best describes Edward’s Yard. It’s a hidden gem that manages to ace biryani alongside Goan specialties, without undermining the authenticity of either cuisine.
Located at the fag end of North Goa, Edward’s Yard has become the perfect spot for a family day out. Having grown bigger over the years, this one can take about 100 plus people and if you don’t book on the weekends, there’s likelihood that you might be out waiting. That itself should tell you how popular this place is. And why not? It’s an oasis of calm with the sound of the waterfall for constant company and the promise of the freshest catch of the day, served without a speck of pretense. Surprisingly, no one is in a rush either; neither those devouring seafood, nor the ever-so-patient wait staff.
