Horizon Residency — Restaurant in Goa

I really liked the atmosphere, the nice view and the food in horizon restaurant, thats why me and my friends came here a couple of times. But the last evening sadly was a nightmare. A cute dog from the beach came to sit with us, he was very nice and made us enjoy our time still more. But when i went to the toilet, the dog followed me for some meters and one of the waiters first called him and then kicked him really badly and brutal in his stomach. the dog was screaming from the pain. Some guests, me included, were really shocked, but the other staff didnt care at all. Is this the restaurants philosophy, to employ staff that is treating lovely creatures so respectless in a hinduistic country? This evening made me and my friends feeling really bad. I tried to contact the owner but didnt find any website or email adress. I would not come...

This is a great restaurant! We recommend it to everyone who comes to visit us in Arambol. The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, the food is CONSISTENT and very tasty, the service is better than anywhere in Arambol and they keep things clean! (They wipe down the tables with cleanser after each guest! I have never seen that anywhere in India!) Most importantly, the music is soft and the atmosphere is romantic. It is the ONLY restaurant on the beach that is romantic, beautiful, comfortable, reasonably priced, and has really good food with pleasant, helpful staff who actually WANT to serve you. The ambience in their shack is one of the most beautiful on Arambol beach. The serving staff are very polite with a very decent food quality. But for me the thing that stood out the most was their honesty. I was at their shack having dinner and they were taking only cash that evening. Unfortunately I wasn’t carrying enough cash. The cashier was so humble enough that he asked me to make the payment next day since there weren’t any ATMs around arambol beach to pay him that night. Hats off to ur trust in the customers.
