Kinara Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Great experience. Beautiful, tastefully lit spot just off the beach with a variety of seating options - from tables to little alcoves - indoors and out. Music was tasteful as well, didn't have to eat to a psytrance soundtrack (I love trance, just not when I'm sitting down for my evening meal).

Server was attentive, spoke English, and answered my questions about various dishes. I ordered the Mandarin fish 'n' chips plate which arrived in under 15 minutes, piping hot. The meal was delicious and the portions were filling. It's not the cheapest place in the neighborhood but in my experience the portion made up for the price difference.

This place has a great ambiance with a mix of seating choices, so you have your pick of table and chairs versus lowtops and cushions. The staff are very friendly and easy to get the attention of when you need them.

The food is also quite delicious, and my personal favorite is the egg thali. The way they make their chapati is hella good because it is a bit fluffier yet has a nice oven crisp to it. I

The menu is also quite international, so if you like bourekas or lots of breakfast platter options, you'll love the portion size here.

All in all, this is one of my regular places to go to while in Arambol, solo or with friends. I recommend it...

Good Food, But Some Concerns About Women’s Safety

While the food and service at kinara were good, I did feel that more could be done in terms of ensuring women’s safety. there were no visible security personnel. I didn’t face any direct issues, but I think improvements like better lighting and CCTV presence would go a long way in making women feel safer here.
