Khana & Love Cafe-Shop / Ricefield Studios — Restaurant in Goa

This review is long time coming. I've been living in Morjim in the last one year, so I've practically been to every cafe in the Morjim-Ashwem-Mandrem belt and I have to say Khana & Love is killer. It's a lesser-known space probably because of the slightly off-beat location, but it's incredible! What I love:

Fresh food, cooked from scratch (so go with time on your hands). So, so tasty too. The Open Veg Melt never gets old! Well thoughtover space with cosy and comfortable seating (love the bamboo and cane accents). Jane (the owner) and her team are the friendliest. It always feels like a warm, welcome space. In-house boutique with Jane's own clothing line (Jane In Tribe) + other little brands that are worth checking out. Great for long-time seating & working or just relaxing & reading.

If you're in the area, definitely, definitely put this...

Saw this place cause I happened to be passing by and I am so glad I stopped to try out their coffee. One of the only places in Goa that has Flying Squirrel coffee(one of the best). The espresso was made brilliantly - perfect extraction, great body, complex flavour and a sustaining, velvety crema. Cute boutique with great items to check out below. Go upstairs for your own personal space where the service staff wont bug up until you press a buzzer for service. Nicely designed and maintained. Stop by on your way...

The coffee was really great and the way I’m used to in Europe. The food was also tasty but it was a very long wait. My boyfriend already finished and I still didn’t received my food.
