The service here is absolutely atrocious. They got my order wrong and when I asked to re-cook the eggs, I got shouted at, and my plate was taken away. I told them that when I said over easy, I wanted the yolks runny. Honestly, i was such a minor issue but what I found absolutely unacceptable was that the cook/ owner /I have no idea who they were, came out and screamed at me and then took my plate away.
I stopped by the bakery to have breakfast and a coffee. I was pretty excited about the space as there’s a really cute patio. I ordered a breakfast with over easy eggs, and explained that I wanted the eggs runny, but the whites cooked. The server asked if it meant I wanted both sides, which I replied yes. (Cuz that is how you cook over easy eggs)
When my breakfast arrived, I told the server that I had asked for the eggs runny because the yolks were cooked. We had a little discussion and I said that’s fine, if you can’t do both sides and make it runny, Can you just make sunny side of eggs instead.
She went back and then this man came bouldering out, grabbed my plate and started yelling at me. He told me that there is no world in which cooking both sides of the egg with get a runny yolk. I showed them a picture of over easy eggs. He said what I wanted was poached eggs Which really wasn’t but nonetheless He took my plate away, told me that I could just not eat.
I still had a coffee, so I quickly drank it to leave and while I was finishing my coffee, he continued to berate me. It was such an unpleasant, utterly unprofessional, and hostile experience.
I didn’t mention this to them but the baguette they served was stale, there was a hard crust on the white doughy part and the pesto was super dark so it was old. I hadn’t mentioned that to them, I just wanted runny eggs and at no pint did I raise my voice or speak rudely. I was honestly stunned by his reaction. It was pretty clear it was a lost in translation moment and they didn’t know what over easy was but how badly that went south because of this wildly aggressive man was stunning.
It’s not worth the trouble, and the coffee wasn’t...
Read moreI visited this cafe almost every day of my trip! It was such a sweet surprise for me when I found this place near the property I was staying at.
Pesto and cherry tomato croissant as a combination has always been my all time favourite but the freshness and the taste of the one I had here was amazing!
Whichever dishes I have tried have been so good and the owner is so friendly and courteous! He sources every ingredient with utmost care and has such a variety of food to showcase! All the croissants- butter, cheese and the croissant sandwiches too, the strawberry and blueberry quiche, the almond and pear quiche, the vanilla eclairs are really tasty!
Really felt amazing to see a place like this! Definitely a must try! Will definitely go there again in my next visit!

Read morePros: Had the chocolate tart and was fresh and excellent Had cats lying around, adding to the relaxed atmosphere
Cons: The staff behind the counter explicitly mentioned the price of the tart as soon as I ordered it, which is a weird thing to say to a customer but nevertheless I still enjoyed the tart On my second visit to the cafe the next day, we waited patiently at the table and at the counter. The lady staff on saying excuse me to twice just barked "WAIT TWO MINUTES", made a face and walked off.
Dear cafe owner/staff: Please stop showing such bad attitude to customers. This cafe aint in Paris. Please relax and be...
